Has Wickedfire become a ghost town?

I really don't know what's more sad about this. That you don't think it happens, or that you keep posting about it when most everyone else knows it does.
As guerilla mentioned, (1) the summer slowdown is in effect and (2) when everyone is making gobs of cash without effort, it's easier to let your hair down and have a good time. Fewer folks are in the latter situation today than was the case a few years ago.
Also, consider: STS has devolved into offering the type of entertainment that becomes boring very quickly to certain types of people. Trashing introduction threads, attacking peweps, and railing against folks perceived as gurus, retards, or scum - from the Warrior Forum to Drew Myers - are the flavors du jour.
For some, that stuff never gets old. They can do it all day long and remain content. For others, like myself, it's like watching paint dry. As folks like myself become less active or leave, we're replaced by those who crave easy amusement.
Nothing inherently wrong with that. It's a common trend seen in forums where the doors remain unlocked. Everyone is welcome, everyone has a mic, and few people are afraid to use it. So, the signal-to-noise ratio declines.
Here's some perspective...
Believe it or not, the Warrior Forum was actually a pretty cool place back in 2000. The discussions about marketing - offline and on - were interesting, even exciting.
Things change. There. Here. Everywhere. No tears.
The last thing Id want is to see the demise of this forum. Its been (and continues to be) one of my favorite places on the entire internets.
I was just pointing out an observation I had. It seems that people are still visiting just not starting as many new topics.

I've been on WF since around 2010 . Used to make nice pickups on blogroll links and everything was easy money.
After all the Google Animals, i agree many people seem to have went silent. I think many just fell off. People paid me to remove links.
beyond that... I think it's the fact Miley Cyrus is twerking more, many are busy with getting to know themself.. personal QT

This is the only forum I spend anytime on anymore. I used to hang out on BHW a lot, but I grew tired of the noobs and just overall stupidity. I still hang out there once in a while, but not nearly as much as I do here. When I first got in the game, I hung out on WaFo, but I soon saw all the bullshit over there. Just one big circle jerk with a bunch of noobs buying ebooks that are completely worthless.
I guess it comes down to the fact that I evolved and wanted to hang out with guys/gals who had more/same experience as myself. There are a lot of intelligent people here, and when it comes to IM forums, Wickedfire is just on a whole other level. That and the fact that the riffraff doesn't last very long. Make it feel like it has some kind of exclusivity.

I'm new(ish). I searched around before I really "joined" this place. Everything else was shit. It was clear very quickly this place has more value than the other Cutts cunts combined. I don't know what this place used to be like, but it's the highest quality for now. Bitches gotta read though. Dig deep. The diamonds don't surface themselves. Not many spend the time just reading into old posts anymore I'm sure.

Internets dying is the real concern, Wickedfire, SEO and affiliate marketing dying are just symptoms of the disease.
