After Tomorrow No More Rebills

Puffffffff, it ain't gonna be long until zip and email submits will have regulations or be banned (SPAM). Looks like we got haters who are tryin' to stop us cause we have brains to make easy money. With that said, its funny how I can't walk past a drink isle in a gas station without seeing Acai on the front of a bottle.

Anyone ever researched pushing ARG (Acai/Rebills/Grants) door to door on the streets? I swear it'd probably work!

Where I live, mail delivery boys sometimes take €1-200 'on the side' to deliver pizza/car rental flyers with their newspaper route...

You could even research leads by finding out which demos (zipcodes) read which publications and so on.... CPM, trends data etc., basically everything is the same...

The thing with the countdown timer is that it helps convert the people who sit there twirling their credit card in their fingers and thinking. They get a pop-up saying we can no-longer reserve you a bottle and it gives them a sense of urgency, like they will never get the opportunity again.

If that's truly the case (and by Mike's post, it sounds like a split test was performed that showed otherwise), just change the verbiage to "last chance at this price", and simply have a script change the shipping amount slightly (5 cents, a penny, etc) if they don't buy on that session but come back. That way everything is technically legal, and no false advertising was involved.

I'm not running rebills, but if I were I would make a big deal of the FTC's pro-consumer changes on the landing page, to make your compliance one of the offer's selling points. People feel better when buying from a merchant with the BBB logo, and I would take this concept and run with it to inspire confidence in the consumer.

The timer thing comes off as so lying and scammy, and would fool only the dumbest of the dumb. Everybody knows that when you reload the page the timer starts again.

At least zip/email submits cannot be blocked by a payment processor.

Rebills aren't going anywhere. If there's money, there's a way. Just the shady ones will be be harder to push.
