I've already started reputation management, there are just so many articles for so many different keywords, will take quite a bit of time.

Well there were a couple of girls that this guy followed to my party, which at the tome was fine with me, he just appeared as he was just drinking. It turns out he was on methadone and a few other pills that he bought from the taxi driver who brought him to my house. (the cab driver is in jail now obviously) but no one knew that in the media. It was all about us.

As far as the reverse rep management, ive thought about that. Yet kept it under wraps due to my career in the corporate world and for professionalism with clients.

I would love to get back at the media who has ZERO fucking idea of what they're talking about. They don't care I'd they ruin someones life.

I went through a similar level of shit a few years back. Don't have the time to detail here, but later that year I almost died of hypothermia, and it brought a lot into perspective.

Since then non-life threatening shit doesn't get to me any more.


My 2c - stop running and hiding from what happened, hoping nobody will find out. They will, and you're sitting on a great story with this whole drug OD thing. It could be a huge asset to you if you look at it the right way. There are several different ways to spin it, I'm sure some here will give you ideas (nc media's is bang on).

I'd start a site for people who have been wrecked by the local newspapers, give them a chance to tell their side of the story. You could go massive with that, and it would have huge viral potential.

A friend of mine got his top level security clearance a few years back. In his interview, he had to tell them EVERYTHING dodgy, illegal or potentially embarassing about his part. They were fine with it - the reason they had to know is that once they know, it can't be used against him any more to blackmail him.

Those fuckers from the media can only hurt your offline image, so online you are pretty much anonymous (even considering you've got to cleanup some mess). So, assuming you've got some marketing skills (which apparently you do), adapt them to the online biz and you can make a very decent living from that (create a marketing blog, write an ebook, go with aff marketing...).

Nobody messed with your skills so this is the time for you to focus, get your shit together, be smart and gtfo of that island of yours.
