The people that I personally know that went to the middle east and didn't shoot and kill people = normal.

The people that I personally know that went to the middle east and did kill and shoot and/or almost died = either completely fucked in the head now And/Or absolutely do not speak about it at all.

(i have friends who went over and did nothing, friends who went over in 4 tours as Infantry Marines and were in tons of battles, and have friends who didn't die because he were standing behind another marine as they ran up to a suicide bomber in a Police sign-up line, but was very injured and shipped out.)

Sept. 11th is a sad day, and I respect all those that serve.

Zoroastrains are unlikely to be Arabs. They're either Iranian (Persian) or Indian (Parsee). In fact it was the Arab invasion of Persia which overthrew the Sassanid Empire which led to the demise of Zoroastrianism in Persia.

I'd love to see what you would consider stellar.
OTOH, libs always resort to feel-good rants they consider 'stellar' when they can't bring any real logical argument to the table.

Quit being the cause of the problem and start contributing to the solutions and maybe, just maybe liberals will earn some respect from this center-right country of ours.

Let's say I remember Jimmy Carter and I'm sure I'm several years older than you.

What are you not clear about? The fact that Obama ran a campaign much like Ronald Reagan did? He promised to be a uniter running as a moderate and sometimes pandering to conservatives with bullshit promises of fiscal responsibility? Or that he lied about his positions to gain the all important centrist independent vote to win the presidency (by gaining just under 53% of the popular vote)?

Nothing about my response to you was calling for a solution to the muslim issue. I was responding to your generalization of conservatives and I shot back hitting my target dead-on. Now you're going to attempt to move your generalization by directing to it a specification?

I remember Obama running on "Universal Healthcare", getting out of Iraq, beefing up soldier count in Afghanistan, "green" energy, etc... Every politician says they are going "to be a uniter and bring both parties together, blah blah blah".

All I heard from Conservatives during the election was, "Obama is the most liberal Senator in history!". I never once heard anyone in real life, the news, talk radio, or any other place call him a moderate anything.
