SeoDave's Guide to Generating High Converting Zip/Email Submits

Hey guys.

I've got a particular Landing page which allows the user to vote on a hot news topic like suggested earlier. After voting they get presented with the retults and then get refreshed if they stay on the page to a relevant ad (in this case, its almost the same thing that brough them to the page).

Is this okay?

The actual landing page is fine, they have to actually move deeper into the site to get bounced over to the advertiser. So I assume the search engines wouldn't care, but do advertisers mind?

Why would advertisers mind?
And how would you make any money if they are kept on your site the idea is to send them to make money for you

Hey,
I'm having problems finding these offers on cj.com and sharealsale.com
Can someone name some of the offers? I don't know in what category they belong ...

Thanks

according to Mike a decent amount of zip submits dont track properly. Has anyone tried the email submits. What kind of conversion rate did you find with email submits over zip submits?

I found with the iPod Touch Offer (1 ran one (the zip) on copeac, and 1 with CPAE (email))

I converted 1:5.5 for a long while with zip

Could never do better than 1:8 with email...

I think people as a whole would rather give zip rather than email on first page submits. Its like when they ask for the zip in grocery stores, who says, "FUCK OFF! You're not gettin MINE!"

Good analogy. I havent heard anyone say ""FUCK OFF! You're not gettin MINE!" BUT strangely I have heard people give obviously erroneous Zips like 11111 and the cashier did not even flinch, just typed it in.

Why is anyone not doing this with the republican debate? Seems like an easy poll to create and it seems to be pretty well searched for today? Am I missing something?

I actually didn't have a ton of luck following this recipe. Between the QS and the networks having problem with me bidding on 'exclusive' terms it was turning in to more of a project than I have time for right now. It was my first zip submit stuff though and I broke about even so it was worth the experience. For me I think I'd have to spend some more time on the page/site to start banking.

GetTheFuckOnIt

I'm in the process of becoming a little more efficient with
the design/build process. I have ideas that seem to be
productive and good knowledge of how to carry them out
but I can't really design a site, (even an easy one) very
well yet.

Once I get that stuff figured out I hope to be able to
jump on these kind of projects and make a buck or
two.

Wow, just wow. I've been searching for a niche, and I stumbled upon 2 that nearly copied this post pixel by pixel. Funny shit.
