B&P all those URL that have my link pointing back to me. Then go back in an hour and B&P all the URLs again.. wait hour.. rinse and repeat. Oh, i also did this from different IP's as well.

Also, a lot of these trusted sites had a RSS feed, which had my link in it too.. guess what, B&P that RSS feed to death as well...oh, some of these sites had archive pages as well ( think wordpress ).. yep, those archive page URL's got B&P too.

That sounds so much better than the PPC route. Here is a noob question  , I swear i tried to research and find the answer, no luck, so :
how to you B&P sites that are not your own?

I guess i shouldnt say B&P as that implies "blog and ping" and you cant "blog" a site not yours.... but you can ping a site not yours.

Just go to pingomatic and pingoat and fill in their pages in the forms and let er rip....

1st post - I had to jump in and try this one. I've tried several of these poll campaigns using google adwords, and have an interesting observation. -

So far I haven't found a campaign that converts very well - still tweaking. However several of my campaigns were hit by google's qs or should I say google's bs. Anyway - instead of deleting these campaigns, I just let it ride with content network still working at .01 per click, and I threw some adsense onto the page to see what would come of it. To my surprise I'm making 400% ROI with adsense on the page.

My question is this - would that be considered MFA? My page is still the poll w/ offer at the top, and an article at the bottom, but now with adsense in the middle.

PS - Finding this forum - among the other IM forums, is like finding a toy surprise at the bottom of grandma's brand flakes. Great forum!

Welcome venrooy. And in answer to your question, you have practically made your site for adsense, have you not? The page was made to promote an offer, and now the only purpose its there is to make money off the adsense ads. If there is little or no content, then I believe it will be considered MFA.

Technically - I made the page for the CPA poll - I was hoping (and still am hoping) that it would convert. However you're probably right, and it may not be worth the risk.

Hey... money is money... lol.

If it has adsense AND something else then they won't clock you for being an MFA.

I like the idea, and just need to read a lot more on adwords QS. Within a day my min. bid was $.50, but I haven't made a privacy page etc, so it's my own damn fault.

Anyway, I'm using PHP to generate landers dynamically, but can't decide which offers to pair with different headlines. I was thinking about making a dropdown menu with a list of offers, think that would be overkill? I mean, it's hard enough to get people to click one button.

Example of lander (just using the same FreeCSStemplate for now, but set up to use templates):
Is Wickedfire a good forum?

Is anybody else seeing all the O.J. Simpson ads? Everybody is using the exact same template (on yahoo) as SEODave. Damn, talk about some lazy affiliate marketers LOL. How hard is to find a free web template and a different "yes", "no" button.

Know what I'm going to do?

I'm going to put the poll up top with a big "OR" next to it & below it say
Enter your info into the form below and receive ANOTHER free gift.
Below = Opt in Box.

They dont go below, they go straight to merchant
They opt in, they get 2 offers 1 - to merchant, 2 - free ebook download.

You have a 2nd Google Adwords account...

Are you clearing cookies when you login back and forth between accounts?

If GOOG finds out you have 2 or more Adwords account, regardless whether you are running campaigns or not, you could get shut down... permanently.

How are you avoiding this?

You can have multiple AdWords accounts as long as you don't bid on the same keywords across multiple accounts. I use AdWords account manager and AdWords editor to manage all my accounts.

I don't get the "zip submit" part - how would an advertiser make money off of someone entering in their zipcode? I can see them wanting an email address, but why would they pay you for a zipcode?

Please explain what I'm missing, as there must be more that goes on.

The "zip code" is just a way for them to start the offer. They have to complete more signups to get their "prize" or whatever. The only reason I can think they choose zip codes in the beginning, is since people might not enter their e-mail address due to spam. It can also help with demographics. Some offers will state, "Enter your zip code to see IF you're qualified".

Although, I do understand you're thinking I've thought the same myself.

couple of thoughts

#1. why would somebody have multiple adwords accounts? total noob here!

#2. 4 or 5 posts here asking how to do the survey buttons and a few complicated answers about scripts etc... any reason why a simple image map would not work?

couple of thoughts

#1. why would somebody have multiple adwords accounts? total noob here!

  1. to flood the pool with ads so they have a better chance of multiple ads showing up on one search results page.
  2. to take advantage of adwords vouchers (coupons which can only be used on new accounts)
  3. legitimate reasons, such as one account to promote their personal sites, one for their businesses, one for affiliate marketing, etc.
  4. because they don't know how to use the "forgot your password?" feature?

?

I think the discussions about buttons have been more about tracking and redirecting than display-related. Do people still use imagemaps?
