Damnit, there goes all hopes of keeping this solid Wombat market secret. My high 85% CTR is already going downhill FAST.

8.00 from 87 uniques is an awesome return. especially with 2 blog posts. great job. I cant wait for more updates.

Quick Update:

What turned out to be 3 websites looks like SEO Mike and I are going to try and take over a whole niche that we feel is completely 100% doable.

Meaning a network of possibly 10-20 related sites is what our goal is with a cetral hub website as the main focus and clean feeder sites that feed off the oth of a sitemain one. All quality content sites with the HUB being the mammoth of a site.

Mike and I spoke about time frames and this really is a 6-8 months project on when we expect to reach our goals and monetize our efforts.

This is a long term, long lasting online business empire plan. Not a 1 day or week but one we plan to work on till we retire or sell our online profolio.

This will be something that we can retire on from the residual income and possibly pass on to our children someday. Much like real estate or money.

I still am doing online mortgage leads and working with mortgage brokers to make a gret living while Mike and I pursue our business. Because it is a business and we are now business partners.

That's my bread and butter and I also have some big plans with that that I plan to announce shortly. Quite possilbly my own affiliate offer with one of the highest payouts in the industry. Stay tuned on that because the first affiliates that jump on that will bank big time!

Thanks Mate! I appreciate that shit. Stay tuned for some more rocking stuff.

Build your empire to now bro. Get those niches started (if you havn't done so) where you can rank high in Google and with work hard, quality sticky sites, have a 6 month to 1 year goal to start cashing in and you'll be golden!

Cheers from Southern California!

Update:

Yep, right now getting the site(s) in order, adding content, having content written, talking about other plans that we may or may not fill you in on (you'll have to wait and see), downloading shitloads of pictures, working on logo designs, basically all the pre-launch stuff that everyone goes through.

We decided today to switch from Joomla for the one site to Wordpress. Joomla is too overkill, and WP kicks it's ass for overall SEO-ability, instant traffic generation, and ease of setup. So, after talking it over for about 40 minutes or so, we decided that WP is the better choice. For the other site, it's not as big a deal if its SEO'd or not. It kind of coattails of an existing site, so most, if not all the traffic will come from that site and possibly PPC.

Moe, want to add more?

I'm sure you two are inspiring others. Totally on the right track.

Question: Where are you guys getting royalty free images from? Or do you just not care and wait for someone to complain then switch it? Heh :)

Moe mentioned istock photo earlier - so assume they are doing this all legit :D

thanks for the update SEO_Mike. I keep up on this thread, so it's good to see where you are headed with stuff.

Like you, I concentrate mostly on content sites because it's these sites that will dominate the future serps. Our goal is to become number 1 in google with a grade A site that is all 100% original and that includes photos.

We're using fotolia.com at $1 a photo and it adds up quick. The last thing I want is if we dominate our niches we will be in the public eye and under scrutiny by jealous fucks, so we want to be as legit and ethical with our process as possible.

This is a little off subject but pertains to us and WF. This place is amazing to network and meet like minded people. Don't trip on PM'ing a senior member, MOD or Guide here. Just don't bug anyone with PM's or IM's.

Be respectful and you'll get respect back

Everyone is helpful. I've spoken to Jon, SEO Mike, Smaxor and many other here via IM or PM and it's fucken cool. We have a tight community and maybe Jon should think of a WF summit soon? That would be a fucken blast. So Cal is the place, hint.....

Anyways, this is called networking folks and I'm good at it. I believe the time I spend here even though it feels like it's wasted in all actuality it's not. I feel that my income because of this networking and making freinds with like minded people will eventually explode my knowledge and bank account.

I feel Mike and I have a great start in our patnership and are destined to succeed in our venture and I look forward to other possible networking opportunites.

This is kinda a general question. But what do you think will be putting you above the competition?

Filling a need? Careful keyword research and SEO? Your promotional skills?

Blargh

Argh.. I'd love to partner up with someone like this.
Right now I feel in a funk, cause I am running against the walls in my own head all the time.

Not gonna happen, cause I am out of sync with you people and still working 9-5 for a living.

Just feel Blargh right now... :anon.sml:

Ya 9-5 is a blower, holding me back more than anything.

I hear Aden is looking for a 'partner' though. ;)

I always look for niches that someday I can dominate and that just starts with researching random keywords. Ones that just pop in my head, I'll place them in the checker and see what longtail keywords pop up. That always my starting point. I always will find this fucking keyword where I'm going what the fuck is this? What are they looking for? Then I'll look to see in Google what it is? Most of the time it's a broad 2 word keyword by dumb internet searchers. You know the ones that type in say chinese food when they are looking for an all you can eat chinese buffet in New York.

My goal with my site is to say be at #1 when they type in ex: Chinese Food and then take them to where they want to go by providing the content that they were looking for. So insetad of them typing in another search term, I capture them with my own mini, quality, sticky, niche search portal.

I think the old set and forget it website building is not the way to go for long lasting business models. Content sites will rule the internet and I'm not a black hat, so a cat and mosue ganme with google is something that I think woulde be a losing abttle eventually. So we plan to basically do it the old fashioned way. Out smart, out work, out write and out link the competition.

Once we get to the top, the plan is to never stop the momentum and not get lazy once we succeed.

So long story short. Build big fucken King Kong sites by good ole fashioned hard work and out work the competion who has no idea what the fuck were up to and when they do, they will be eating our asses.

This is kinda a general question. But what do you think will be putting you above the competition?

interesting stuff guys

BYA I have to admit that I was a bit annoyed by some of your posts when you joined but you're posting really good stuff here man!

I see you're using istockphoto and fotolia, you might want to have a look at dreamstime as well, I use them a lot

I had a fucking bad experience with partnerships, I was the guy who made all the work and we split the (low) revenue, nothing special if the partner wasn't my cousin, yes, my cousin!
since that I do everything on my own

I'm following this thread
