Thanks peeps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just want to open everyones eyes to other possibilities besides doing it all alone and the fact that there is a huge talent pool of people her at Wicked Fire.
People that are struggling can put their minds together with someone on the forum and make a success at this when if they did it alone, they would fail and quit.
I hate to be the wet rag here.. but with ANY business agreement or partnership like this, you should get everything in writing/contract and signed. You should also have everything documented as far as positions and each person's tasks go, along with payout percentages, etc. I know it's a pain in the ass, but I can tell you from experience, and I'm sure others here can too, that getting this stuff sorted out BEFORE you start eliminates so many potential disagreements and distrust between partners. I'm not saying any of the guys you mentioned here would ever do anything bad, but just remember, a business partnership is still a big undertaking. What happens all too often is one guy will start thinking that he is doing more work than the others and therefor deserves a bigger payout piece of the pie. This is something you DO NOT want to happen anytime, as it can seriously hurt the business.
Also, a quick side note. Regardless of who is handling the cash or what, get yourself an LLC, and a brand new EIN with the IRS. You do not want to fuck with taxes and have everyone be confused. Remember too, taxes for businesses are paid per quarter, so make sure someone is on top of that at all times.
Just some friendly advice if you want to do things correctly from the start.
Maybe we should make a new section for these types of things.. but I would like to see how this one pans out before we go and recommend people to get together and start something up.
For my first business, I had a partnership agreement with all the details spelled out perfectly. We ran that business for almost three years and then started *another* business. Since we had worked together so long and "really know each other" we didn't bother with the agreement this time....with ANY business agreement or partnership like this, you should get everything in writing/contract and signed. ... Moe, you really crack me up. You started with all these ghetto-ass posts about being in and out of the joint, and then you start talking about using "cherry" mortgage leads to pursue with your "team". I never know what you're up to, but I like it, keep it up.
And as for the partnership idea, I'd almost rather be involved in a deal with several people with one uber-trusted person in charge dealing out responsibilities and work based on the talent in the group. I get all these ideas, but I'm scared to share them since I always think somebody will just snag it and leave me in the dust. A co-op would allow for a lot of coagulation of ideas and talent, and like has been said previously, increase everyone's earnings.
If anybody gets that sort of deal together, hit me up, I'm a team guy and am sitting on ideas going stale.

Let's just say, I learned the hard way. Do yourself a favor and follow Jon's advice.
I'll vouch for BYA's seriousness about this. He came to me for help with a legal partnership agreement, he knew I used one and he also knew my site is part of an LLC. That was one of the first things I did when I decided to make a business out of my site.
Don't let him fool you guys. He's got a good head on his shoulders. I think this will be interesting to watch.
