Thanks Icecube. I'm French and a Southern Californian, so maybe that's why I can be so annoying sometimes.

Just remember most of the time I'm just doing it to screw around and to intentionally annoy. :D I kknow when to turn it off too.:yin-yang:

BYA I have to admit that I was a bit annoyed by some of your posts

Hey Mike,

Have you looked into Expression Engine?
ExpressionEngine - Publish Your Universe!

Everyone talks about Wordpress but I manage over 30 small niche sites on one install of EE. They now have a free version out for everyone to test drive. It's essentially the same as the pay version but with a few missing modules like email a friend. The only drawback is the limited number of default templates and they're not the best looking. But the good thing about EE is the flexibility, so you can design your own templates and make anything from a subscription site, a portal, a blog or webstore from it.

If you want to expand you can even buy their forum module and plug it in. It really is an elegant piece of CMS and the support (only for the paid version) is excellent. I've never found any other CMS with this level of quality.

I don't want to sound like I'm pimping their wares, I'm not an affiliate for them but I thought I should point web marketers to a great piece of software for what we do, especially since there is a free version.

Update:

Yep, right now getting the site(s) in order, adding content, having content written, talking about other plans that we may or may not fill you in on (you'll have to wait and see), downloading shitloads of pictures, working on logo designs, basically all the pre-launch stuff that everyone goes through.

We decided today to switch from Joomla for the one site to Wordpress. Joomla is too overkill, and WP kicks it's ass for overall SEO-ability, instant traffic generation, and ease of setup. So, after talking it over for about 40 minutes or so, we decided that WP is the better choice. For the other site, it's not as big a deal if its SEO'd or not. It kind of coattails of an existing site, so most, if not all the traffic will come from that site and possibly PPC.

Moe, want to add more?

Great Post! Very informative and motivational.

I love how you spice things up BYA, not only do you get your point across in a great way, but you always get a laugh out of me.

Nice to see a good ol' content site project.

Props++

Shit, I guess we forgot about this thread BYA.

Anyhow, been working on some SEO for the sites. They are both up and we're adding content daily. Funny thing is, the project keeps shifting around. The ultimate goal hasn't changed much, but as we progress, various elements of it do. Focus shifts, ideas on monetization changes, etc.

There are elements that have progressed much faster than expected and others that didn't develop so quickly. No big deal, such is business. That's something every n00b needs to learn very quickly: flexibility. Don't get over-focused on something that you refuse to allow for design changes, schedule changes, and even goal changes. Business is fluid, and you need to learn how to adapt to the ebb and flow or you'll drive yourself mad (bet you thought I'd say "you'll drown", nope, didn't want to be that cliche') :D

Anywho...we may have something big to announce soon, but there's still stuff we need to implement first. Don't worry, Wickedfire will hear about it before anyone else.

Yo Yo Yo!

OK, I 've been so fucken busy that I can't even post here or my blog. I actually forced myself to not visit blogs or forums for a couple days and today will be just an hour in the morning. Time management becomes the key when your working on various projects.

Mike and I have been going back and forth and it really has shifted to monetizing the traffic I get on an existing website that I use for home loan lead generation and that's what Mike is talking about as the big announcement. We want to recruit people acroos the nation to work with us on a huge project where we combine efforts of say 100 people to dominate the serps and my niche.

There is no reason that if I made well over a $100,000 my first year from California that we can spread the wealth to someone in each state and eventually each county where affiliates can make good change on a real offer that they actually own. You see that is the key. We are not just going to say hey pitch or shit and make x number on a lead. We are going to teach you how to convert that $x lead into $xxxx buyer and your profit. Fuck this having to gen 100 leads to make $1,000. Why not 30 leads and make $5,000?

This industry is filled with the old "Leading people to the fish hole and let them learn on their own." We are doing the old school hard method where we will train people, like I'm training Mike, on how to fish, how to skin the fish, how to cook the fish, what seasoning are good on that fish and some great side dishes to complment that fish.

I have been in the real estate business for 8 years and in my niche for 1.5. So I know what the fuck I'm doing and I know how to sell. I will teach you what I know and mold you into a salesamn on the interenet and on the phone, so you to can make mad cash.

This will be a business and not an offer. A chance to change your life and own something that you can work daily to perect and corner a market in your arrea with online and offline advertising.

We will work out the kinks and approach Jon because we are going from forum members to actual company owners who will be plugging their company to WF members. So we need to make sure we don't cross boundaries and piss off advertisers.

We now have a total of 4 projects. Like I mentioned before, one project will be 6-12 months in the making and the rest will compliment what I am already doing.

This thread isn't just about making money but the forming of a business relationship and friendship into a money making mother fucking adventure and we hope to spread that into a one of a kind project that will give oppotunity to those who desire it and want to put their hard work and soul into it.

Some gr8 inspiration BYA. Commercial RE is actually what I do at the mo. The next few months will be an exciting adventure mate. I know I'll be watching you from down under, and who knows may even get my toes wet with your concepts.

Fuck I wasted my 100th Post on that comment Fuck Fuck Fuck now i gotta make up for it with some killa pawn pix.... ILL BE BACK!

Thanks Ajay! I dont know about down under but here in the states the RE market is taking a dive. So what does a smart marketer do? Monetize people who need my help. The market is headed south so whats the next big thing? Foreclosures and Bankruptcy's so get your shit ready for the US revolution:bigear: and monetize the poor saps who bought a house they cant afford with loans they should never of been in.

If you want to make money, get in the money business like Ajay. Real estate and mortgages are the highest mother fucken items you can profit on in sales. Why sell port o potties when you can sell dreams and hope?

The key here is learning a trade you can live off of and not just make a quick buck. You can make as much as a lawyer or doctor after 1 year if you put your heart in it. Not many other business's you can do that in except illegal ones.

People skills and internet skills needed, If you have that then the rest is easy shit.

Your right BYA, I live in Atlanta were the foreclosure and bankruptcy rate is one of the highest in the U.S. Investors are snatching peoples houses up left and right.

Bingo! And the rest of the affilliate world still is doing ring tones and blockbuster offers. Where is the creativity and the brains to see you will make more money in real estate and mortgages then at one time offers. Even with the market down and it being competitive.

Investors will pay huge finders fees for locating thses properties where the borrower is in distress. If you get those leads, you can work a 3% finder fee. And on a $150,000 house thats $3000.

If you had a great offer, landing page, offline signs, pennysaver and 800 number where you they can call you and you take the information and forward it to the investor via fax or PDF attachment then you don't have to worry about tracking.

All you need is 1-3 a month and you can make a great living during this market.

Learn a high paying trade where you can make offers and use your design and SEO skils to help you while you learn the business and perfect your skills.
