Prices double For New Thread. 77$ Matters :(

Clearly, they don't NOW. They did before when the linked webinars were advertised. Jon squashed that shit with Falian's webinar episode.

I have a general understanding that it wasn't ever "allowed", just that the rule wasn't mentioned very clearly. Right?

You attempted to "out" Guerilla, by using Guerilla's own words. I mean, the logic in that...

I have said it even before 08-28-2012 when Jon stickied that thread everywhere

You've posted a link to some webinars that he did for free. He has never denied this, and even referenced it in another thread.

Your claim related to selling on the backend.

We're still waiting for evidence to substantiate your claim.

I went to one of his webinars and there wasn't selling going on.

The point of list building is to sell to them forever afaik

That said, I see a lot haters on here, and I'm just hating on someone's endless bullshit and idiocy. I am just pointing to his swift change in stance when it comes to "embrace or die".

To be more clear, I'd mention here that I liked the $36 pricing when it first appeared and I like the new $77 pricing too. Wickedfire should also allow paid stickies across the BST section along with a top banner and email blast (BHW charges around $3500 for that)

From last 2 months, most of the providers are complaining about less sales.
If you are offering same 2011 seo links then it is natural to happen.
90%+ sellers are talking about less sales atm. and this $77 thing is a nightmare for many of them. A few providers talked to me yesterday and today and they said that they not gonne renew their threads. LMAO
People are more than aggressive to bump there thread (from last 2 days, bumps have increased.)
When wf started charging $36 per 10 days, 80% of the providers/threads were removed imo. and this $77 thing will continue the goodness for nice providers. Expect better services from established providers now. A very good thing for buyers.

comparing "building a list" with what Guerilla did is like comparing feeding wild animals in winter with hunting.

Good, Wickedfire needs less idiots from India and the Philippines selling garbage anyways.

Oh you again...

So, let me get this straight you little shithead. You decided, that of all the things to comment on in regards to a pricing change, to bring up a comparison between two forums that are completely different in terms of content, active user demographics, maturity and goals, all while having no actual facts to base it off of.

I mean, do you have access to our stats? Or are you basing it off of third party guesstimates? Yeah.. I think you are...

And of all the things, you're making a comparison to justify the price increase as if VOLUME is our primary concern.

Please sir, if volume is our primary goal here, where are the ads based on cpm?

Where are our ads all over the interwebz trying to invite every newbie and their third world country family over here to populate the forum?

If volume were still our goal, wouldn't we not discourage and promote a hazing newbies attitude of "adapt or die" or better yet put as "either you're one of us, or you had better shut the fuck up".

I mean, if volume were the goal here, and because you are CLEARLY the expert of all traffic related informations of the world Mr SEO God over there... Then, why do we put so much effort into NOT just approving everyone, or not banning everyone, or putting up with the typical brown nosing regurgitated bullshit that everyone else is totally cool with??

I have an idea, since you want to pick a fight... Let's have an SEO competition afterall.

You go and pick your team of experts, and I'll pick mine from this forum.

Let's see if you can do reputation management for all of your clients that we're going to rank WickedFire for. I'll give you 90 days.

At the end of the contest, I'll de-index the threads after you've lost. You will admit absolute defeat. Write with a spoon pic as proof, WICKEDFIRE PWNED ME AT SEO across your forehead... and agree to never log in here ever again.

If you do win, you'll get more respect and admiration from the vast volume of volume and volume volume volume... Right? Volume?

I think that's a fair fight. If you're going to pick one, at least pick on someone who doesn't have bigger friends than you.

I'll take Ilya, Barry/Grind, Ice2Eskimos, and .... two more guys want to volunteer? PM me. So, we'll have no more than 7-8 guys on our team.

You pick up to 20 guys.

OR

You can take a ban right now and fuck off right back to the little cave in the mountain's ass that you came from you dickhead...

I'm sick of people like you. Not gonna put up with it anymore. You love BHW so much? Fine, go there. I like BHW just fine. I believe they serve a purpose just like any other forum. But don't come here and play these games just because you're upset for not being noticed or important.

You're a pussy, so I will treat you like a pussy. And you will be fucked, just the way a pussy is supposed to get fucked.

Wickedfire has a lot more potential to probably bring back more than $77 in sales.

If you are one of the people who think this price is too high, or is worried, then seriously, you are probably offering a shitty service where you are worried about making a fucking ROI.

BHW has cheaper prices, but at the end of the day if you are able to make your money back that should be all that counts.

Well I for one use those cheap services as well as the good stuff, everything has it's place.

I would rather see a "cheap ass" section where they pay $10 for a thread and a "gold" section where they pay the $77 or more.

Having to go outside wickedfire to find the cheap comment services or other low end stuff is going to be a pain in the ass.

If you offer quality, you'll get the quantity (in orders). The price increase will simply filter out the lower quality link building providers...

That's a pretty good idea actually. (And I say that as someone who would be going for the gold section, not just saying I like it so I can cheap out)

In theory it's a good idea, but then you just have all the same low-baller shitty services in one section.

No, you'd just have a max $ service sell amount in the budget area.

I don't have any opinion on the matter however. More, less, meh.

Just make it a rule. You can only have a thread in one of those two sections. More than one? Ban.

And then don't have any moderators taking care of the shitty section. No dispute battles, none of that. Let it be a warzone. Let them all cannibalize each other, arguing in threads, copying each other's services, etc... until it dies. Then just delete it...

... or better yet. Just don't have it at all lol

How about a direct comparison, instead?

Back when I put out a blog network of mine on here and BHW. Same price at both sites. BHW pushed nearly 2x the volume. Those from BHW were also higher likely to be repeat buyers, of the same service and also of other services & products later down my funnel.

Anyone of you guys disagreeing, have you ever even offered anything at BHW? I know myself and jstover both have been highly successful at BHW, and I've been highly successful here with services, and we're in agreement about BHW pushing more volume.

edit: You deleted your post and now it looks like I'm talking to myself :>
Just pointing it out: You are comparing a forum that is largely dedicated to SEO with a forum that is mishmash of everything, including a pretty significant PPC audience.

It may just be your specific market is best represented at BHW bro.

In theory it's a good idea, but then you just have all the same low-baller shitty services in one section.

Exactly... sometimes that is what I am looking for and I would know where to get it without having to leave this forum. No-one in their right mind would go there looking for high quality. Also wickedfire would not be loosing the low end sellers to another forum.

If I want quality then I'll shop in the high end section, is I just want to blast some junk links for a test then I could shop in the low end thread... win-win!

A forum in this industry has 2 choices: Be full of idiots or assholes. If you don't have the assholes to chase away the idiots, the forum fills with idiots.
The balance is certainly a bit worse than it has been in recent years, but I maintain a certain asshole population is every bit as necessary as an immune system.
