Prices double For New Thread. 77$ Matters :(

You guys who want shit ass providers, go to fiverr and spend til your hearts content! Why is that so hard?

The new prices will raise the quality of services imo
Maybe, or maybe not. It will definitely push a lot of newcomers out of the market, people that are hungry and eager to provide a good service. It also cuts down on the amount of choice we have here, forcing people to go to DP and Fiverr for low cost services. I guess many WF people are doing this anyway.

In a way, the higher cost benefits those who can pay for it by reducing the competition. Once a thread is closed fewer newcomers mean it stays on page 1 longer, so the OP gets the benefit of advertising long after the thread is closed. I was thinking of starting my own thread in a week or two.

I plan to open a sales thread later tonight and the price doesn't matter. This will immensely weed out the cheap low quality sellers.

Fascinating. Can you link the thread where you tell us all how much of a baller you are and how you hate peasants?

I haven't purchased a post in a while because I stay busy from clients I already have, but I don't feel like the increased prices would decrease competition for me. My reasoning behind this is that the people who couldn't afford the price increase aren't my competition anyway. I could see it potentially increasing my exposure, however, since there would be fewer active threads.

It is not hard, but a simpler approach would be to have a "fiverr" section on here. Why lose the visitors, plus WF could make a couple bucks off of the cheap section.

Also I am talking about cheap services, not shit ass providers. I just checked and there is still lots of "shit" that I would never touch in the new $77 section. Having the cheap section would most likely weed them out of the quality sections making it easier to buy.

BMW doesn't sell a $10,000 sedan.

Plus, fiverr margins don't scale at the volume people do around here.

And for fiverr to work, Jon would have to accept payment on behalf of sellers.

I think you're seriously underestimating how much effort he wants to put into the BST. The high prices make moderating easier, not more work.

Most of us are trying to make more money with less work, not save someone 3 clicks for free.

Honestly , it does not matter .Most of the sales thread here should be making minimum of 500$ at least i assume..so 77$ investment for 500$+ benefit is NOT bad at all..and 500$ is just the minimum if you offer good service...

Average sale in bst is most def not $500+....

Err... no. A sales THREAD should make 500$

Which is a number I can confirm.
