That's where my mind was back at the beginning of all this, but it's really hard to see how that could be the case when the Chief Scientist for NASA Langley says that 'it's real & it works.'
You can't just get the Chief Scientist @ Langley to say this kind of thing for you... Not even with a bribe. How big of a bribe is worth losing that entire career?
No, there is clearly some kind of LENR reaction that isn't chemical, so in my mind the whole issue now is one of production value, not merely "if" it's a scam.
Sadly, Rossi seems unaware of how corporations do big business on this planet so we also have to consider that a smear job of some kind might happen to it to.
Where did the 'Chief Scientist @ Langley' say this, and who is he? Is there a video, or atleast a government website with the document?
edit: most of these lenr/ecat sites ive seen are a few steps better than MFA's. I don't really trust any of the content on them.. I was able to find some slides about a palladium\dueritium LENR reactor on nasa's site, but thats about it. Nothing about nickel/hydrogen.

I hate podcasts but I weeded through this shit for you guys because it's just too important.
He gives his credentials before this, but you can start listening at 4:30 when he starts talking about LENR, which he says is the most promising future energy tech, that is "Beta Decay without radiation," but is a "farther term, but not that far" technology.
Then he talks about other techs for a long time, and gets back to LENR, it's history, and how it works starting at: 8:20. (@10:40 he specifically lauds Rossi's experiment!)
Do you guys think this podcast is a fake? If not, then there is definitely something real about LENR. (Not cold fusion. Listen to podcast to learn the difference.)
Bushnell even goes on to say at 13:25 that his team at Nasa compared using a LENR-powered rocket to a conventional, Nuke-Fission-powered rocket, and the LENR ROCKET HAS BETTER PERFORMANCE!
That's some serious research... Nothing unimportant about that.
About palladium\dueritium, Bushnell said on the podcast somewhere that there are many elements you can use to make the reaction, and he said that Nickel is one of them... His team tried palladium & dueritium tho because they thought it might work better.
Basically it comes down to "extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof" and I have neither seen or heard of any such proof.
Your assertion that either the podcast is fake, or LENR is real is a false dichotomy (though either of those assertions is possible), there are plenty of other explanations.

But if we take for granted the podcast being real and the likely fact that Bushnell is not trying to sabotage Nasa (which we know he works for and we know he's done LENR experiments for) then according to what he says in the podcast, at the very least, LENR technology has the near-future potential to give us more efficient, cheaper power than even Nuclear Fission.
That's at the very least. So what's to really be doubtful about then? Just that Rossi is lying about his findings despite them being a bark up the right tree?

im pretty sure when the first electrcal circuit was produced nobody could get their heads around it, nor proove it until centruies later.. Becayse it was completely different to what was used before.

NASA Chief Scientist Bushnell has apparently been educating more than just Nasa engineers about LENR; Make no mistake about it; he's FUCKING STOKED about LENR, and no matter if Rossi's ECAT flops or not, Bushnell sounds certain that NASA will be powering everything from spy drones to satellites to mars landers to deep space probes all with LENR in just a few years.

A. No matter if ECAT is horseshit or not, LENR is soon to become a household technology that delivers us 100% clean, non-toxic, non-radioactive energy in large amounts, essentially destroying the oil and coal industries.
B. The powers that be have no clue about nor control over people in its' own employ, at least when a pseudo-science like "Cold fusion" has been tied to their work somehow to make them underestimate the vast threat they are facing.
This is important, and not just for LENR: To put it another way; If ANYONE wants to get their disruptive technology past the conspiracy/lobby/government standing against them, all they need to do is simply NAME IT some failed, preferably laughable technology at first so that the conspirators will severely underestimate it (and you) long enough to get your shit all over youtube.
