Possibly The Most Important Science Breakthrough Happened Today

Really, how much could it possibly cost to duplicate his experiment or create a LERN / eCat to test?

Really, how much?
I dunno, shouldn't be too much at all for Rossi to do; just a little of his special nickel fuel which would likely cost him a buck or two plus his time.

For someone else? Gotta be really tough. Only been done by a few people at all... Mostly working for NASA, who of course is part of the USGov, who is of course under control of the Oil lobby... So let's not go down that route either.

I don't know man. The original cold fusion/lenr science was based on a single study which hundreds of other scientists around the world failed to replicate, not only western but Japanese as well up until year 2000. Doesn't seem very credible to be honest and most of the sites discussing this are clear conspiracy theory morons. I don't have much hope for this to be true and I am by all accounts what people would call a conspircy theorist.

they won;t let it be at easy approach for their own benefits ... this idea ultimately will be over taken by the govt. in case they found it useful ...
well we are in need of it, lets cross the fingers*

Even if it's 100 percent legit... The people currently in political and financial power won't let this technology go much further than government use. Sad but true.

Alrighty, I've watched the CERN presentation last week:

CERN Document Server: Overview of Theoretical and Experimental Progress in LENR

Takeaways:
  1. LENR is absolutely proven, real, repeatable, and not any kind of fission, fusion, nor chemical reaction.

  2. Hundreds of scientists from universities around the world, NASA, Toyota, Mitsubishi, and other big labs have been actively trying to one-up each others' results with LENR steadily since 1992.

  3. Rossi and Dekaflion (the greeks) are both mentioned many times in the presentation but always dubiously with a "let's just wait and see" attitude.

  4. LENR output ratio beats any other known power source. Even Fusion... Yet LENR plants will be small enough to fit in your pocket.

  5. Best temp yet: 900 Degrees Celsius, held for 6 days, fueled by only 2 grams of Deuterium-Argon gas.

  6. The mechanics are now all pretty solid, now it's just a race on the chemistry side. Nickel-palladium, used by Rossi, isn't what is testing among the best for others. (Doh!)

  7. Pons and Flieshmann were definitely onto something, but it was never "cold Fusion." -They just didn't know what they were looking at. Now we do.

  8. "More funding required" to take this to the next level in university studies... But of course NASA, Toyota, and Mitsubishi, at least, all have the tech in their hands now so it's only a matter of time before we see LENR in the marketplace.

How much time? He makes no guesses. I'd say 4-10 years.

As for Rossi I no longer hold out any hope. He handles himself like a scared little bitch with way too many apologies. Dekaflion, or however you spell it, has a better chance IMHO as their lab has something like 27 scientists working together on LENR so they've got more incentive to not fail.

Reactions: Uptime
Thanks for the update, haven't looked in to it myself but sounds hella promising.

They need to hurry up and sell these at home depot. My underground secret lair is going to need "off the grid" power. Here's my latest blueprints.

See that second chair LukeP? My girlfriend thinks its for her, but really I put it there for you. (no homo)

Wow Cheshire, Thank you, I'm really honored.

It's not every day that someone offers to share their bunker with me. And the design is awesome, too; Love the lightpost air vent.

But don't hold your breath for the home depot stuff; that's Rossi. I seriously doubt he'll deliver.

Here's some more information from the same site. Rossi Tells Florida Bureau He Has No U.S. Factory, No Nuclear Reactions

After doing some research, it looks like he has made a discovery but it will require fuel to power the ni+h reaction.
I don't trust PESN anymore. It's just too pro-Rossi. The presentation I linked to is from CERN, who is pretty much the world's authority on Nuclear research these days. (Since we shut down Fermilab.)

If any organization on the planet could discredit LENR properly, it would be CERN.
