I apologize in advance for this question, but I haven't run FB campaigns for years, so I'm a bit out of the loop.
Is there different placements within the same "placement" (newsfeed sponsored story, etc) based on bid? I have a campaign that has a ~10% CTR when I bid for page likes and FB optimizes the CPM to roughly $12. When I switch that to a manual CPM bid of $2-$4, the CTR drops to 0.05%. Is it because the ad is being buried and no longer being seen, even when the impressions are being counted?
