So the only way mgrunin could make a profitable campaign was to run $340,000 worth of Facebook ads without paying. I don't know how you could expect to scam Facebook out of that amount of cash and not have it bite you in the ass.

Also, pretty sure I remember seeing this thread somewhere....

On information and belief, under the username mGrunin, Grunin used affiliate-marketing forums to find buyers for Facebook advertising accounts for which he procured access through unauthorized means. For example, one post by mGrunin on such a forum stated the following:

Reason for Selling: I have half a dozen high limit FB accounts that are sufficient enough for my FB campaigns. I've also been allocating my budget from FB to other mediums, so I'll be letting go off (sic) several accounts. During this account's life, I was throwing my cleaner/smaller campaigns on it.

Well Eric, it sounds exciting but I aint about that life. Not to mention shit like that doesnt last at all. One day or another the boot comes to kick :p . Im not doing so bad but no way can I afford a 100k car. Still working that day job for now.

I felt the same tingle in my balls every time I read a mGrunin thread that I did when I read an Eagle thread, so I could sense something like this was coming.

Ah, this reminds me of my last two years in college. (graduated in the Spring of 2013)
I would go to class every single day in a suit and always with a briefcase. It wasn't a complete necessity every single day, but I would sometimes have meetings with clients before or after class , so it became more of a convenience to attend class in that attire. At some point, you are used to dressing in a specific way that I would head to class every single day in a suit & a briefcase. Unlike the gentlemen in the picture...mine was leather.
 
I don't fucking understand. OK he scammed Facebook and ran $350k of ads for free. But why was he so insistent on stock picking etc.? He knew that he doesn't know jack shit about the stock market and made all his money by scamming Facebook. Why would he publicly do something like this?

And there was me just thinking he was going to leverage this story to drive tons of traffic to Wickedfire, win Jon over and take Wickedfire public, before selling all his shares and watching the stock tank. The public then finds out that it only had such high advertising revenues due to the media story, and that really it's just a bunch of gay webmasters that buy and sell links on .edu domains for fun.

I even had ideas for the stock ticker: GAYW.
 
I wouldn't discredit Martin at all. He didn't scam anyone on this or any other board, or his partners, his clients etc. What he did to Facebook is probably against the law and it wasn't the smartest thing to do this openly and brag about on forums, but I have zero sympathy to FB or any other big corporation or govt institute. They lost 350k and hell with them.
