EPN is going to fuck us! QCP Preview Available

Are you blocking foreign surfers? Have you tested your feeds are working?

What about visitor counts? Consistent traffic? Serp rankings?

When something is wrong, I check everything to see what has changed.

i haven't touched a thing so i didn't think to check anything. i just added a bunch of IP's to block from other countries...so hopefully that helps. all my traffic is the same otherwise.

Ok, then have you pulled transaction reports to see if you are generating bids and revenue for Ebay?

i just pulled a transaction report. i've generated $4500 worth of sales for ebay since the beginning of the year, which comes out to $350 for ebay earnings. my EPC is still at .01 and making literally pennies per day, not even enough to keep my sites up and running. i have been running ebay affiliate program for YEARS now. i think im almost at 3.5 years. i've consistently made at least $20/day for the last 3 years. i can't figure out why in mid january of this year, my EPC went to shit and hasnt' come back. so annoying. any thoughts on how to improve this?

i finally added the code that dude dropped earlier in this thread...the .htaccess code stopping a lot of foreign traffic to my sites. what do i do now??

also, i see a few $50 ACRU's in there that I never remember actually getting.

quick update:

since installing that code a few replies back on this thread, my EPC went from .01 to about .06 now. not great but still an improvement. what else can i do to continue to increase the quality of my traffic? also, how can i check which of my sites are getting shitty quality traffic?

thanks

I just ran a transaction report for this month. Combined, my sites have generated $54,633.82 in eBay sales, of which $1200 is what I've made at a .19 epc. I'm sending them the highest quality traffic they could ask for and the compensation is still so minimal.

Welcome to EPN.

PS - After talking to several of their reps at Affiliate Summit (the third affiliate summit where I've requested feedback from eBay) and left my information, I still have yet to hear from them. Fuck eGay

I'm in the same boat... err, crock.

eBay sales: $31,323.48
Feb To Date: $205.01
EPC: 0.17

That sounds about par for how they're running EPN now.

Just got yesterday's earnings & stats. Made $103.87 from 387 clicks. eBay had $3845.62 in sales yesterday from my sites.

In 2010, I am making 4% of GMB, and about 7.5% of WBR.

Amazon might pay more on GMB (6%?) but the one day cookie has to impact the gross numbers. I'd love it if the Amazon stats would tell us how deep into the cookie duration the winning bids come.

I guess the $55k is the total sales figure?

If so what was the total ebay winning bid revenue that they paid the $1200 out of?

Do they give you that # on any of the reports? In the transaction summary, the "Amount" column totals to $2217.22, but I'm about 1000 less than that in my earnings. I was always under the impression that that column should be what I've earned, but it's never been accurate, even on the old system.

If I run a report by campaign as well as the number of clicks etc I also get the following:

- winning bid revenue (which I assume is ebays rev)
- GMB (which is gross something, I think is the gross sales value of the items sold)
- Earnings (what they pay me)

My earning typically run at 40% of the winning bid revenue

WBR = Winning Bid Revenue
GMB = Gross Merchandise Bought

Under the old system, the lowest earnings tier was 50% of WBR. So 40% is low. I make about 75% which is high for my volume which is lower than efeezy's.

If you're not generating commissions, you won't generate revenue over the long term. Ebay is not paying for clicks with QPC, they are valuing your earnings based on QUALITY (earnings, actions) divided by clicks.

It is NOT a CPC program.
