Funny how he says the FBI agent says it should be just a civil case. These guys are paid to act like it is no big deal so they get confessions easily. He just spilled the guilty beans. He just sealed his fate with that post.

Did the Hoolligan Hogan talk with a lawyer before he wrote that?

Bottom line, whether he 'likes' money or not, greed was the main factor on both sides and he did a lot more 'gray' stuff than he cared to cover.

...It'll be an interesting case. Doubt he'll do jail time, but I haven't looked into it all too much. Waste of time.

They didn't cookie stuff DP, they stuffed the coop link exchange network via the "tracking" pixel and then bought a bunch of junk iframe/popup traffic.

No way man. Didn't you read his blog post? The feds told him personally that they think this case is a waste of time resources. The only reason it's being prosecuted is that some guy at eBay's cousin works at the DA's office. Hogan said so. I'm sure his attorney vetted all that pre-publication. This case has "Advantage:Hogan" written all over it.

15 mil over a year is good shit but he could have made more than that if he monetized the forum back then. I made about $70k in 2 years selling directory submissions on there and at least 3 people made more than me.

I was drunk last night and posted without knowing all the facts but this seems to be a case of stupidity. Why in the fuck would anyone use their own identity to pull such shit when they already have money. IIRC he made 10mil+ off that optigold software.

That is the one of the lamest statements I have seen today on WF and that says a lot. You are going to believe a clown that admits to fraud, eBay told him to do it and he says the FBI says, "Ah $15 million, no big deal, this is between you and eBay."

Lord help those like you that ever get into a position where you are criminally indicted or the suspect in a crime.


  1. You do not open your mouth to implicate yourself or others
  2. Law enforcement can say whatever the fuck they want to get a confession. It works almost every time.
  3. If you have been formally indicted by the FBI after a 3-4 year investigation, then you are fucked and almost guaranteed some type of conviction. They do not do this for cookie shits and internet giggles. They have 98% plus conviction rate once a defendant has been charged.
  4. Hogan better start lifting weights because his skinny ass will be someone elses in the pokie by the time this all over
Hence, this case has ADVANTAGE = FBI written all over it

That blog post he wrote implicates him 100% in my eyes and to say any different just shows the ignorance of most of the sheeple who do not understand how the world works, the long arm of the law, the laws of the land and the scales of justice.

I used to be on the other side of the law and have been handed my ass many times by district attorneys and prosecutors to have learned my lesson long ago. I now walk with the laws of the land as a productive citizen by helping my fellow man avoid scams and or becoming a criminal themselves.
