Hinduism could allow for it and would. It's one of the most syncretic religions we've ever had. It's the most comprehensive mythology that's always on the move and growing. Me rikey.

Dolan is legit. But even with his conservative historian's approach, it's obvious as hell that the entire issue has been swept under the rug. Anyone who loudly laughs at ufology is an intellectually lazy pos.

Hopefully they would allow for the fact (or at least possibility) that their "gods" were in fact ETs. Maybe then they'd have the sense to kill their cows for food and kill their caste system. Me rikey.

And one other possible benefit is that dumbass humans would focus less on their differences & actually have a chance to get along a little better

needless to say, the implications of an officially sanctioned disclosure would be widespread and profound..

Pretty much exactly what this video / the comments in this thread are. Yeah I believe there are other life forms in the universe, it's statistically given, but I'm not convinced they are visiting us & where is the evidence of it in this video? It's just another guy rambling on about UFOs, that happens to be the minister of defence in Canada.

This. I believe in extraterrestrial alien life forms, but the distance required to visit us even at the speed of light makes it unlikely that any intelligent alien life form has ever gone through the trouble to visit us. It would require a tremendous amount of resources.

Also Paul Hellyer USED to be the minister of defense in Canada back in the 60s.

Lots of sheep, who think they aren't sheep, in this thread as usual. The funniest part is they're getting suckered into authority bias even though most of them would consider themselves anti authority.

How can you people OF ALL not recognize when you are being sold?

I am not saying the guy in the video is 100% and legit, I posted it for education and discussion reasons. However, I want to make one serious point.

What will it take, to convince you that aliens do exists? Now, we do not believe common people, because they are "cookey" and just "seeing things". We do not believe authority, because they probably have an agenda, and it is an "authority bias", so must not be true.

So the only valid option is to see one yourself. Now, if you do see one yourself. How can you be sure that it was a real thing and you weren't just hallucinating? How would you verify that to yourself? And then, how would you prove that to others? Would you even talk about it, or keep it mostly to yourself for not being labelled as "cookey"?

So, finally, I'll repeat the question: what will it take to convince you, that aliens do exist?
