If you didn't get a pm by now than either:

A. You read this thread & didn't show any interest in posts or PM.

B. You didn't read this thread at all.

C. You are already ripped.

BTW I've also split tested headlines and call to action, results coming soon.

This is the time to be hitting it hard if you want to look good in the spring. Just from eating clean alone I'm the leanest I've been since high school (I'm 28 now). I'm walking around at 161.

Cardio bores me to fucking tears unless I'm grappling, which I haven't done competitively for about 5 years.

Fastest (non diet related) results for me have always been:

weighted dips
squats

Go heavy on these two and you'll see it fast.

In a nut shell:

1) In take less calories each day than you burn = simple math (approx. 3500 calories = 1 pound of fat) - eat 5 small meals a day to increase your metabolism (versus. 1 - 2 large meals)

Seemed to work........

See, I only eat one or two meals a day when I am running and dieting. I cant do the 5 meals a day thing. It would be nice, but I dont have the time. I usually eat a 6in sub at lunch, no breakfast, and a nice dinner. (My dinners are a little heavy I quess, but I am starving at night.

How do you make time to eat 5 healthy meals a day?

In his training program, 3 of the meals (between the usual main lunch an dinner meals) are actually little snacks which consist of say an apple and a low fat muffin.... so, these things you can carry with you.

Also, for dinner, if you have a huge appetite, instead of eating 5 burgers, or an entire pizza... make 1 burger, or 2 slices of pizza -- then lots of vegetables to fill it out. You can eat as much veggies as you want to make yourself full, they have very minimal calories.

IMO breakfast is very crucial, when we sleep at night our bodies go into a catobolic state. The best way to combat this is to eat immediately upon waking, I am usually a little sleepy so I grab a whey shake then a big breakfast an hour later. (I also down a casein shake before bed at night)

As far as finding time for 5 small meals I work from home so no problems as I am usually no more then 50 feet from the fridge.

I have been home full time for almost 3 years, the first 2 worked against me as I ate constantly and did not workout besides biking, seem to have a nice balance now with lifting 5-6 days, 1 bike ride 3-4 hrs long, 6-7 meals a day.

Do you think you could get ripped by doing only push ups and sit ups? I don't have a gym membership or have any weights at home :p. I think with a proper diet I may be able to accomplish getting ripped with using only these methods + running.

Add weighted pullups to that combo and you have a better full body workout than 99% of people are doing.

Alternating deadlifts with squats if you're doing all full body workouts works awesome too. Not so much if you want to do weighted dips and pullups your next workout.

surf 3 hours in the morning. workout at night. it works for me. whenever i leave hawaii i see how fat the rest of america is. its kinda of gross but sad at the same time. now is the time to start a fitness program. i actually recommend doing the Insanity workout videos by beachbody. they work wonders for people who arent in shape or for people who need to get in wicked good shape.

this too. crossfit is legit. be prepared to puke up your lunch. most people arent used to this kind of intensity.

ya, the intensity is the reason I love it though. It's gotten me in sick surfing shape too. Damn so you live in Hawaii huh? I'm jealous. Did you catch any of that monster swell that just hit Hawaii?

Ill go ahead and throw out there that I am willing to do this. I used to run 3 miles a day, but quit about three months ago. I am up to 210, but I like to stay around 190. (I am 6ft.)

I have never had muscle. Even when running, I have a big belly, that I can never get rid of. I would do this, if I could get some guidance on diet and exercise routine. The problem is, being an affiliate marketer, I dont really know what to trust, what's a scam, and what not.

Guidance, and I am in.

WTF lol? Surely being an affiliate marketer you should be able to tell exactly what is and isn't a scam?

cumming all the time FTW !

8 years ago I did the Tony Horton process. He trains actors etc. to get in shape quickly.

In a nut shell:

1) In take less calories each day than you burn = simple math (approx. 3500 calories = 1 pound of fat) - eat 5 small meals a day to increase your metabolism (versus. 1 - 2 large meals)

2) Work out 6 days a week (with one day break for the body to heal) - and not more than 25 - 40 minutes per work out.

Alternate 1 day cardio, 1 day weights.

Lost 15 pounds in approx. 30 days.

If you keep going then you can get ripped. Abs as always, are the hardest.

Seemed to work........

this is the guy that did p90x in case anyone cares. You know, that shit you see on every single website on the internet right now

Thats what I am doing, for the second time. It's been 8 months, and I am hurting quite a bit.

On a side note, definitely not submitting photos to some random dude from Israel and his ripped.bz website. Next thing you know, I will be all over the internet for some fucking acai/diet flog with a p90x upsell. fuck.

You will see an improvement for sure but if you want to get ripped you can't just do this. You need to work all of your muscles not just a few of them.

How about buy a gym membership?

hey Lemon, Anybody sent in pics yet? I'm debating going and digging up the digital camera to take revealing photos of myself, but really don't want to if you don't have enough to make this work.

Getting six pack abs is a waste of time IMO. I know lots of ladyboys out there that have six packs, and they think they're the shit. Then, they see you with 17" biceps (not huge, but decent size) and challenge you to an arm wrestle. You slaughter them, then make up some BS and challenge your other arm. You annihilate them again, without abandon. They leave, six pack intact (but pride sorely lacking).

I'm going to break some news to you: the male body isn't supposed to be at 7-9% body fat when it's reached it's mature state. Sorry gentlemen, but it's not. Your body wants to be around 10-13%, which is cut enough to have definition, but not cut enough to have shredded abs. Getting lower requires a deep understanding of your body, careful dietary planning, often supplements (ECA stacks, steroids, etc.), and a bit of luck with genetics. You see lots of "skinny fat" people (thin people with a bit of a belly), but how often do you see a dude that's genuinely skinny? Rarely, and the ones that are have the genetics for it.

People need to stop fucking worrying about six packs. Go to the gym, follow a basic 5 x 5 routine if you've never lifted seriously before, and get strong. You know what's fucking impressive? Benching 225lbs+ for reps (I don't mean this one time max shit, I mean for reps. Bench it three sets of 8 reps, 5 sets of 5 reps, whatever.) Squatting 400lbs+ for reps. Deading 450lbs+ for reps. I've never met a single guy who could dead over 350 who didn't have the muscle development to back it up.

Sure, it's not a "glamorous" workout like P90X, but P90X is bullshit anyway. P90X is good for people who don't do any other activity of any kind and who don't do any strength building. A friend of mine swears by P90X, and in a year I got leaner, bigger, and stronger than he did. Of course I did, I did weight training with a focus on building strength, not size. He did P90X. He's still a ladyboy. I had to go buy new shirts because my shoulders, chest, and triceps/biceps had gotten too big for the ones I had.

The best part about not having abs is not having abs. They are a bitch to maintain. Years ago, when I was 18, I used to have a six pack. I used to be that lean, ripped guy that had little muscle development anywhere else. I used to do fucking situps before I went to bed. I did situps when I woke up. I did situps in the middle of class. I did situps when I was fucking. Hell, back then I'd do situps when I was typing shit like this. Then, as my metabolism reached maturity, the six pack disappeared. No amount of situps brought them back, either, and I realized that I had to keep my BF% low enough to make them visible.

Fuck. That. I'd rather be "bigger", with a defined outline than a ripped six pack, since it means I actually get to eat real food. You want a six pack? I'll tell you how:

+ Put your body into ketosis. Cut out carbs (shoot for under 75g/day of carbs-- good luck), eat high fat/high protein meals. Aim for .75g/protein per pound that you weigh.

+ Do HIIT. High-intensity interval training is the best thing for cutting fat. It also sucks donkey balls to actually do. If you don't know what it is, Google it.

+ Add weight to your ab routine.

BAM- you'll have a six pack... as soon as you get rid of all the fat. Meanwhile, in the three months you're doing that, I'll bulk up a little. I'll put on some more weight, some of which will be fat, but I'll also be able to LIFT more weight. Then, come spring, I'll cut down for a few weeks so I'm sitting around 10-11%BF. You'll have your six pack, but I'll still look more impressive on the beach.

Why? Shoulders + chest + arms + legs = win. Keep chasing your six pack, folks. I don't need mine ;)

^-- the way I see it, if you're going to take the time to bulk, you should take the time to cut as well, otherwise it's just lazy.. the bulking pays off when you get rid of the fat... so take 12 weeks instead of a "few weeks" and you can have your bulk *and* six pack ;)

So are we getting this thing sponsored?? I appreciate the effort lemon is putting in to collect photos and whatnot but to me, it'll seem more official if a network sponsors it or we all throw a certain amount of money in.
