I have -1 (It is the layman term.. not sure what it is called) but I have had constant -1 for over 12 years now... Am used to glasses, but I am waiting for some non invasive, non-side-effect treatment to come out...
You can ask just about anyone who wears contacts what it was like at the start, it was exactly like that. It doesn't feel natural at first. I remember it taking like an hour just to get them in when I first started out with them. You eye wants nothing to do with it, and does what it can to reject it. But after like a week or so you'll adjust and then it's gravy. Added benefit of being able to poke yourself in the eye I guess.
Find someone who'll do it one eye at a time. Then at least you'll get to wear an eye patch like a pirate if something goes wrong.i am the one also searching for lasik now a days, results are promising but the problem is with the procedure thing as eyes are one of the most sensitive parts, what would you guys like to recommend me should i go for it? i am little afraid...
Do they still cut the shielding off your eyes for the op? Just wondering, considering it.
Just woke up for the first time in the morning. Being able to see the time on my clock was crazy. My first thought was 'shit, did i forget to take out my contacts?'
Freakin. Awesome.

Shit, that's how I felt when I first started using monthlies (contacts) because you can sleep in them.
If I had that every day... gah. I'd be a happy man.
PS - Mattseh told me they don't have to cut your eye open if they have some sort of laser way to do it. I'll be probably scheduling a consultation now.
This sounds great what kind of visibility you had before? + or in -
