what I don't understand is why they dont show their faces and say "payments are delayed because of X, Y, Z" the fact that they dont give an specific reason on why payments are delayed seems to be fishy and unprofessional.

when they first started delaying payments a couple of months ago I was told by manager that it was technical difficulties...but common sense tells me that a company like Epic should have the human power to fix this "technical" issues in a couple of days tops. Since this hasnt been fixed leads me to believe that something else is going on (financial trouble)... it's a pretty big red flag IMO.
amen

a couple months back when my payments started getting delayed, my AM responded in 3 ways: first, it was "it went out today, the ACH will take a couple days to clear", then it was "it'll go out today, i promise", then it was "i'll make sure this is taken care of", and lastly *silence*. only after going above his head, did he finally divulge their cashflow issues.

i hope for the sake of those who still haven't gotten paid that they rebound from this and get their shit together. but personally, fuck em. i'm done.

Is epic still looking to be in the market? or they have done with the affiliate marketing and now the owner might be looking to buy some beech house near to the ocean to start fisheries business..

Are you really surprised? First of all in any industry if a company is in trouble, any trouble, especially financial trouble they're not likely to be very forthcoming about it. Secondly, in this industry where the golden rule of ethics is: "if I can get away with fucking you or anyone else, I will" - the company will straight up lie to you.

good luck with that

straight from my AM:

"Also, since you aren’t running anything, to be honest, you are not on the top of the priority list. When we get our daily payable amount, the first publishers we pay are the ones that are still sending traffic"

What an asshole.

Poll is 50/50 on Epic folding, not very comforting... Anyone getting paid or have any new info on what's really going on there???

No new info, but I have been paid everything owed to me. They sent it 2 weeks late and combined 2 payments, but I am now current. I keep hearing that by September the automated payments will start again.

Sending a minimal amount of traffic to them for the time being. I hope they survive as they have been one of my favorite networks.

to be honest YES I'm a little surprised that Epic is running into financial trouble (if that is the case). It is a huge network and before this issue I never had a single problem with them. Always paying on time every time. Kuddos to my AM that told me he would advice me to hold my traffic until the issue was resolved. But then I see a lot of folks having payments delayed for 2 months, 2 weeks or simply not getting paid...... You are right I shouldnt be surprised... but wasnt expecting this from a company like Epic.

In the other hand, that worries me the most is that if such a large network like Epic/Azoogle is having financial troubles, I dont want to think what is going to happen to all the networks that broke tons of offers thru Epic.....

You guys have a lot of faith in Epic!

These guys BEGGED me for traffic back in July. When I said the only way they were getting my traffic was by having me on weeklies they readily agreed and said no problem. Anyways, needless to say I'm still waiting for my money.
