Robert Shwartz, who's a senior AM at epic has left the company. Considering the guy made a % on what all the jr AMs made and his own group of affs who were usually of the super aff variety, that to me tells me it's major. When the big money makers leave, that shows that either the AMs aren't getting there commissions on time either or that so much traffic has pulled out of epic because of payment problems that the amount of commissions they are getting isn't worth it for them to stick around.

Nick Farinella, another senior AM, just left epic too...

AM told me in a slightly nicer way -- if you run traffic you'll get paid late and once you stop traffic they will withhold all outstanding...

Thats pretty bad I would say. But I still dont get it. Everyday I get email alerts from offers that I use to run with them saying that the offers reached is daily cap. So that means publishers are sending volume to epic.... so some of them are still getting paid.

Personally I only had issues with payments a couple of times back in June-July. I was on weeklies, then my AM told me they were changing payment terms.... So after the 2 late payments and change of terms on weeklies I decided to bail and move my traffic to different networks... My AM even told me to hold up my traffic until further notice to avoid any more payment problems and that he was going to contact me when the payment issue was resolved. Didnt hear back from him since....

Is it Legal ?

To hold people money and not paying them?, I think they should claim bankruptcy and government pay affiliates by selling company assets in an auction.

No, it's not legal. Paypal does this too (holds money for 160 days as interest accrues. Threaten the fuckers with legal action (and follow through)

Our last communication with the AM was this for a payment due for September 8 days ago:

We will be getting the payment out imminently. I keep making requests to accounting, and they assure me that you are close to the top of the queue. Thank you so much for your patience. We will have you paid up to current ASAP.

That is for September payment - $960
Now October is also due - $680
And November - $1,000

In total they owe use around $2,600 - at least they paid us everything until AUGUST ... but since then no payment was made to us, which is quite frustrating. Useless to mention the AM doesn't respond to emails since 8 days ago ...

I personally like Azoogle and I know they used to be a great network but I have no idea what they did with their company that they got payment issues now. We anyway stopped sending traffic to them so we have no balance for December.

If that's true then good for you! I don't know why they're jacking the rest of us around then if they're paying someone who hasn't sent traffic all year. I sent them high xxx,xxx over the past year until they stopped paying. Still owed for July and August. No problems, they just won't pay... So I stopped traffic. If they had paid, I would have kept running. On to other things now but still a little miffed about how they're handling this and would still like to see the money they owe me... That's good news to hear they're paying somebody still :banana_sml:

I spoke too soon. 5 figure payment from November is delayed now.

Email from my rep:
, we are experiencing a delay in payments at this time, due to some key infrastructure changes going on at the company. This is absolutely nothing to be alarmed about, but essentially we are tightening the screws over here, and many people are shifting roles. That being said, we expect these changes to have an extremely positive long-term effect on the way our business is run, and more importantly, the method in which we pay our most coveted resources (you guys!). I will work as hard as I can on my end to get your payment out as soon as possible. Please bear with me during this process. I promise you that every single dollar that you are owed will be paid, and that we value your work greatly over here. We aren’t going dark on anyone! If you have any questions, please let me know. Otherwise, I will keep you informed as to when the payment is going out.

Reminds me of the vote of confidence in Baseball

The Managers job is safe.

Once you hear this you know he is a dead man walking.

I don't doubt that I'll get paid. I've been watching Azoogle evolve over the years from the time they were running what I'll call "high volume" emails out of the datacenter I was selling servers for & getting my IP ranges caught up in blacklists. They evolved from that and have been going pretty legit ever since, so they'll probably continue to be around for quite a while.

I've got a good rep and am promoting some offers backed by solid companies, so hopefully I'll get paid before too long.

Anyone else having payment issues? What's the average payment delay looking like, from those whose payments have been delayed for more than one month?

im upset with myself. I saw this thread and still ran some stuff a month ago. I figured since i wasnt receiving more than a few hundred i was going to be paid no problem. But they are now holding on to my payment as well. I recommend that no one runs anything with these guys until things get figured out.
