I've been paid $xx,xxx amount. Seems they are catching up and getting payments out.

If they were going to stiff, they would of already.

I'm a low to mid 5-fig monthly publisher with them, and I kept sending traffic. Not sure how people are doing that stopped sending traffic.

Dude, you're playing Russian Roulette... But glad for you that you're getting paid by them!

I can you tell you that I have learned a lot of lessons in this business about credit extended and risk management.

Set a limit of how much you're willing to loan to someone based on their past history. If you go past this start working with another network and channel in case you run into an issue.

With that said if someone has a strong credit history extend them a lot if you feel safe doing it.

Here's the crux. If someone misses a payment we stop the bulk of all traffic and their credit limit gets lowered to next to nothing until they fix things. Most of the time their credit limit stays lower from then on because I know their business model is most likely flawed.

This is business basics. Like I tell all our publishers, run you affiliate business like a real business. Have rules for things like credit, what happens in a worse case scenario, etc

Diversify everything you can. It will lower your risk. Sure it'll make some more work but will definitely smooth the bumps in the road.

Extremely well said and I don't think a lot of people do this or think this way. This is how I operate when dealing with networks. I've had to completely stop sending traffic to one network and just stopped on another network until things get cleared up.

If I'm doing a lot of volume and a payment goes over a week late, I stop everything until it gets paid. If it is a more reputable network and lower volume I might let it go for a little longer. You have to evaluate the risk/reward and figure out if you're willing to run with that network.

Btw, I don't run with A4D much, but never had a single problem with payments from them and I know they took a small hit once when the advertiser didn't pay on some of my traffic, so props to them.

VERY well said! I'd never thought of it like this before (stupid "blind faith"), but now I realize how important this is...

Great post, I try not to put all my eggs in one basket.

What were you running with them? If they haven't paid you in a year that sounds like it would pre-date any payment issues affecting the rest of us and might just be because you sent a bunch of shitty/fraudulent traffic to an offer...jus' sayin'.

if so, why account wont be banned?

I don't have all my eggs in one basket. If I don't get paid, it is not going to put me under.

I manage risk. Those who did not treat doing business with networks as extending credit and lost everything do not get much sympathy from me.

Also, a month or two of lost revenue (even if you are running with just one network) should not be putting anyone under. If you are not strong enough to take that hit, go and start working for some company. You are not going to last long on your own.

The easy days of making money are over.

Anyone get paid by Azoogle lately? It seems like they're paying 30-60 days late and then as soon as you stop running traffic they completely stop paying (leaving you with one to two months unpaid)... Shitty how they're handling this whole thing...

dude. let me save you all the worry and the questions and the whining.

1) you won't sue them because you are not owed enough to make it worthwhile;
2) since you're not doing #1 - you're at their mercy - just relax and move on with your life. if you ever get paid treat it like a surprise gift.

You're right dude, we should just let them F us and not talk about it and warn others of what's going on there so they can get F'ed over too. I'm not whining. I'm trying to get the word out to other aff's that might not be aware of what's going on. I wish someone had warned me to not deal with them so that I wouldn't be in this situation. Additionally, since the company won't communicate about it, I'm trying to get a sense from others of what's really going on; it's just possible that they're getting information that I'm not. Hence, the "forum" concept to share information.......

Our payments were clearing on time ("Weekly, Net 0") but it appears there were discrepancies between the amount owed and paid. So far the difference is about $25,000. The amount isn't substantial relatively but still sucks to be shortchanged. I'd like to remain optimistic that they'll sort cash flow issues, despite most affiliates and good employees jumping ship. :crap:

Worth mentioning, my AM of 2 years from Azoogle emailed and said she was leaving the company. I take this as a pretty bad sign, although I guess it could mean nothing.

Just to update, all of our balances are now cleared. Hope everyone else gets things sorted.

I notice that these fucks at Epic canned my account because I haven't been sending them traffic (because they haven't paid me for my previous leads), even though I have a 3K unpaid balance with them.

Stay classy Azoogle.

Sorry to everyone here who was brokering richmen through me during these payout problems with epic for the last 7 months. I was willing to guarantee weekly payouts on it with payout matching as long as they kept my account current. They were good up until this month(thanks to my excellent very hard working AM there), then I started getting the same BS and now they're overdue by two payments (the limit i set for them) so I'm pausing the offer indefinitely at noon today.

They don't owe me a lot considering how much business we've done on it and I shouldn't have a problem collecting the last of it. It was a good deal for everyone involved while it lasted but I can't make a poor decision by extending my risk or credit to them. If any of the owners of Richmen.com are reading please get out of that AOR and sinking ship! Call me instead for a better deal :)

i am uncertain whether Epic is the AOR for this offer; mundo media has had this on private in the past

I thought according to everyone in the know all these problems were supposed to stop in September ????
