n00b question:
when you guys say to do research on a niche, what kind of research are you doing? what are you looking for?
FLAME ON!!:banana_sml:
The way I do it (and I'm a newbie) is to use Google's Keyword Tool, Select the dropdown to show "Cost and Ad Position", put in a number, like 10, then start putting in keywords. I randomly put words in and see in I get any interesting results. Ok, may not be completely random, but sometimes it's fun to see what happens. Also, you may want to try increasing or decreasing the cost. I usually use $2.
Once you have some keywords, at this point they are pretty broad, go to a traffic estimation tool to see what kind of traffic there is for those words. From what I've seen on other WF threads, if you get around 10,000 searches a month, it's good to use.
At this point, go back to page 1 of this thread and do whay they say!
Here's an old WF thread that might be helpful.

another n00b question:
Is it best to have a domain name for your specific arbit niche site ex: easycreditcards.com
or
Is it better to have one information domain ex: allyouneed411.com and have subdir of your arbit niches? ex: allyouneed411.com/creditcards.html
My assumption is that it doesn't matter so much if you're only doing arbitrage. *I would suggest using subdomains over your example however.
*I suck and in no way should be giving advice on matters I know little about. Use at your own risk.
Like I said, I don't know. However, coming from my own point of view it is more aesthetically pleasing to a surfer if they see they're going to some semblance of an authoritative site rather than */xy9bx7.html
thanks for clearing that up, I've got another question
Do you think that having that many ads on the side like this on
http://www.i-geek.info/chevroletavalanche.htm
is a little bit overkill?....(excluding the ads on the bottom)
I think if you go with less ads on the side, the site won't look "full" or proportional.
Thats just my opinion on it, what do you guys think?
That's where Trial and Error Comes In. If it's not doing good, why do you think the Owner of the i-geek made a series of those PPC Arbi Sites ....

Does anyone have the URL of the PPC ARB site that makes a leaderboard across the top look like navigation?
It has a guy sitting crosslegged with a laptop in some very green grass across the top?
thanks,

pearz76 - since you asked - I have been busy and am currently setting up the 7 search campaign.

one of the things I am testing is ad quality. this was a 1 hit test meaning I did not think about what I put there, i will spend $5 testing to see if this is just crap or I should spend time working an ad. remember - all this is for general info.
I have a list of just under 500 keywords with bids at $.06 - I don't think I will get many clicks but we will see.
