Also, I will say there is no get rich at arbitrage formula. What works well for one person will not work for everyone. Plus, why don’t you take hints from people in here like chrislingle and myself and actually go do testing yourself. We don’t need anymore threads on arbitrage. We have about 50 pages on arbitrage here with all the info in them to help you get started and be successful. Just like everything else it takes making that leap and doing your testing. You might get different results than what is in here that is the beauty of business there are tons of routes to go. If you get different results (as represented here between chrislingle and myself) don’t throw them out just go with them. You might find a way that works for you that is contrary to someone else. Or it might fit what you are planning to do or style better. There are many ways to make money in the marketing world. It is ever changing so it takes you the marketer to always be thinking of what you can do next instead of just being stuck on one thing. Do what is working well, but always plan for the future. Take the info here and GO DO THE DAMN THING. We can all sit on the porch discussing it all day long but I don’t know about you but I am in this for money. It takes work and testing to make money.

Definitely dudes! If you want to start making money, stop reading this site and go make your arbitrage, seo,or whatever site. This site has wealths of information that you can utilize with the ever so complicated search=D, and definitely take advantage of that, but one of the greatest things i've learned at WF is to not always question and just go ahead and test things out. If you do have a question, then of course post it, people with experience might be able to share their opinions and what not, but if your questions can be solved by you testing it out yourself then go do it!:xyxthumbs:

ok so here are 2 pages, these are mock ups and there are some changes that are going to be made with your imput. text is the same and very general, (I have found that writing like I am in the 5th grade works very well and it is easy for me seeing as I am not that smart!) 1 page is yahoo so no pics by ad the other is google and has 2 images. I used the code from http://www.improvectr.com to ad the images to the left of the adsense code. so here are my thought on changes
1. the boxes are to wide should go to 728 or so
2. need better variety of images of course
3. improved banner
4. i have tried to make the text of my writing and size look like the ad - the yahoo page is not the same.
any other suggestions?
should I ad more ads, I tend to put 1 per page to get the highest payout, your thoughts

Chrislingle,

Which PPC network you are using for this PPC Arbi ?

Keep the thread alive !

just so we can keep track of everything I am starting with 7search for 1 week then searchfeed after that? any other ideas

Yup, I got few success rate on 7search. Less than $0.06 per click.
But I got less than 10 Impression per day per site.I noticed some of my sites on 7search have searchfeed to compete with but you could be in position 2 for less than $0.06. As long, the visitors are clicking on my adsense, I will be in profit.

Currently, I expanding into more niches.

arbi is a volume game for the most part. if it is not working though do something else. I have had the best success with 7search, I have some arbi sites that are making $70 a day, some making $3 more the $3 than the $70 but it all ads up!

nice and simple site..yumm!

hey i dont got many suggestions because things vary a bunch from one arbi site to another, but here are stuff you can test out:

1. light text(for adsense and content seperately)
2. types of images(what images, how many images)
3. color of link for contextual ad(although i think regular usually is pretty safe)
4. ad placement(top, left, right, bottom)

there are probably a lot more stuff but i can think well this late at night. that is a lot of stuff to test already anyways..so yeah.

Hey guys,

for the www.i-geek.info example. do you like the setup? do you guys thinks this guy would do better if he had less ad blocks? different ad link colors? just wondering. like how would you critique it?

It had been a few days since the last post ... any updates???

Or you guys already making a bunch of money and bz spending all of them?

pearz76 - since you asked - I have been busy and am currently setting up the 7 search campaign.
my ad:

find your perfect mortgage
We have information providing you with the lowest mortgage rates and refinancing available. Our lenders will deal with first time buyers as well as people with spotty or bad credit.
www.sellitallnow.net/gmortgages.html

one of the things I am testing is ad quality. this was a 1 hit test meaning I did not think about what I put there, i will spend $5 testing to see if this is just crap or I should spend time working an ad. remember - all this is for general info.
I have a list of just under 500 keywords with bids at $.06 - I don't think I will get many clicks but we will see.

some things I have noticed looking at the bid sites on 7search for mortgages, there are an assload of people doing redirects to lendingtree! I am going to go out on a limb that mortgages will not be one of my $70 arbi sites, maybe a couple bucks a day if that!

All this talk about Arbi's is making me very hungry.

Your keywords must be long tailed to the extreme chris. Any mortgage keyword with 1000+ visitors a month is at least $0.50 when i checked it out.

ok ok, check it out check it out we have 24 hours up on 7search having started with the google page, http://sellitallnow.net/gmortgages.html we have had 9 clicks with 7 clickthroughs! yes that is correct! I paid $.06 a click so a total of $.54 spent and have made, $8.76 - taking out the $.54.
I ran 1 keyword with it's own ad and bid amount. I bid so that this term was in place # 2. there was 5 clicks at $.60 each. the page was a an aff offer. I spent $5.40 and and had 1 lead witch made $36 after subtracting costs. The page had adsense on it and there were 3 clicks witch brought my costs down to just under $2.

I think I am going to stick with the campaign on 7search - I still have to test yahoo publishing witch I am now doing. I am concerned that yahoo ads are not targeted very well. I am going to set up the campaign with same keywords and ad text in searchfeed.

Ok, so just so I'm straight on this. You are talking about 2 different things above right? 1 arbitrage and 1 ppc --> affiliate on adwords?

Are you going to share the ad copy and keywords for the 7search ads or no? If you are gonna keep i'd say no, but in the fairness of a group test maybe you should. I'm not sure on that one.

Anyways, I think that is an awesome start and it motivated me to figure out what the hell I'm doing wrong with my 2 arbitrage sites.

Looks like you're doing pretty well already! I would be interested to see what keywords you're using, but that's up to you of course.

Reading this whole thread took awhile. Night everyone :p

Jdog, I gave the ad copy in post #92 already. it is nothing special. I turned off the ad at 7search and got 2 more clicks thanks guys :-) It is running again.
Jdog, I am running 1 campaign however I took 1 keyword that had the most searches and did a seperate ad with a different landing page that was not set up for arbi. (I am not ready to share that one yet, it has actually made me $150+ since post #96!!!!!)
as for keywords, I did nothing special on this one. I think arbi does better with general keywords so I took what was sugested by 7search, if the keyword got less than 100 searches I did not include it.

Searchfeed I think is crap! it is less expensive but were the fuck is the traffic coming from? I have spent $3 and not had a single click. I know the page works cause 7search is rocking!
