I kinda agree with ly2 here. I can understand ignoring every wack job that demands something, but when the wack job is offering up $5 million that's a different story. It's not appropriate for our president to actively make a move to benefit one charity over another, so I disagree with your premise entirely. If Trump truly cared about the charity, he would just give them the money. He's predicating the donation on Obama's actions because Trump is an asshole and wants to corner Obama into looking like an asshole too.

Obama's not saying no, he's just ignoring it altogether, which is the right thing to do as the president should avoid interactions that will land him on tabloid covers with pandering asshats.

According to Wayne Madsen Obama was born in the US but gave up his citizenship to go to school in Indonesia. (The school he attended is only for Indonesian citizens.) Obama doesn't want his college transcripts released because they probably list him as a foreign student.
