appreciate it, will check out now...when it comes to reporting actual error messages, if you guys could PM them instead of posting publicly, it's probably the best.

EDIT: it's fixed now, I see where there was a mistake in the code...shouldn't run into that problem again. Thanks for the heads up.

Sorry about that. After I posted it, I thought that it might not be best to post here, but by then I couldn't go back and edit it. Will PM you in the future.

Alright, have had this in the works for a long time now, and am stoked to announce it:

NEW serpIQ FEATURE: COMPETITION INSIGHT SYSTEM

I'll let the screenshot do most of the talking here:

This system automatically parses all the data for the top competition metrics and explains them in plain english. I have a ton of experience in the agency and consultancy world, and I built this specifically because I know there's a need for it. Literally no other software has this in the world.

New to SEO? Read through each description and it will be like talking to an expert SEO. Grindstone and myself worked through many iterations of this feature to get it where it is, and we're very proud of it.

Work at an agency or as a consultant? We designed this so you could straight up read it directly to your client and they'll think you're a master of SEO.

This feature is retroactively applied to all keywords and should work well on everything. I can't test it on all of the tens of thousands of keywords in the system however, so please, if something breaks or looks word, please message me and I'll take care of it immediately.

I am pushing a variety of smaller updates tonight as well, and this week we'll be launching a lower priced version of serpIQ for those hesitant to take the plunge.

No one is going to match us in terms of speed, ease of us, and data compiled. Get on board, we're ready for ya :)

Very nice.

What about a way to export all that data for all the keywords in a keyword group? For example as a .csv file.

Update looks great, was just about to request an average on the content length for each keyword and see it's in there.

I know this isn't exactly how you meant and dchuk's latest rollout already delivered but thought I'd drop this here. This is across the system for top 10 results as of 3-4 days ago.

Thanks for the info Dchuck / Grindstone. I grabbed the trial version as my projects / budget wont stretch to justify the price just yet. Though I have now vamped up my main page content to 3kish. lets hope it works :D

This is great, although the site seems like it's down at the moment.

I'm wondering if it's possible to specify a location for the keyword discovery tool? It'd be great to get local statistics on the keywords rather than what seem to be US search counts.

It is down for me as well.

I pushed an update this morning that went slower than expected (it was on the backend, nothing to see here)...it's all good now though.

Possibly in the future, though the goal with serpIQ is for it to not just be a middle man tool. You should be able to fire it up and complete your keyword research with it.

These descriptions will be automatically included the PDF reports in the coming future however, which will be pretty sexy.

I'm working on finishing that up right now, it's slightly tricky to work with foreign markets with the Adwords API. I should have it completed this week though, so I'll post updates here.

Try flushing your cache, I just ran a keyword in 28 seconds. Thanks!

LOL, simo-posting.

Guess most of us have big enough screens to handle a few more columns in the competition analyzer, so what about a "global search count" column and a "local search count" column?
