Awesome updates.

Another random idea. In the main competition analyzer page, if you displayed search volume next to the competition index, it would make it really easy to pick which keyword we should work on next. When we've got a bunch of related keywords, it gets difficult to compare them.

This would also open you up to doing some filtering on that page (show me keywords in X category with Y volume and CI less than Z).

Both great ideas. Unless it crushes your server, I don't see why you shouldn't just list 100 per page. Then I can just hit Ctrl-F and find it real quick

There will be an actual search box that will let you search through all pages, not just what's on the current page. Of course, ctrl + F would work as well if that's your fancy.

Good idea. Global or Local volume?

Either is fine, just use whatever you are using for the keyword discovery (global?) for consistency.

Yeah, discoveries show global volume. Sounds good, will add soon.

Been working on some stuff behind the scenes, have been wrestling with some bad proxies that have periodically slowed down processing a bit. I apologize for that and am pushing out updates that will account for that and keep things running in a speedy fashion.

I'll be posting more stuff this weekend.

Maybe a stupid question, but can I use this tool to estimate local monthly searches specific to a certain city or region. I cant figure out how to do this with any other tool. Can it be done?

I don't believer there is any way to calculate the amount of searches in a region as specific as that. I have heard of some methods but they're all just really rough estimates.

is the whole thing down ?

My apologies, Linode server had a hiccup. It's now back up and running. Will be investigating what's going on all day today.

Love the search function :D

Thanks!

errm .. just signed up for a free trial and nothing is happening when you search .

Searching is for searching through your existing keywords. In the trial, you can have up to 5 keywords so searching is relatively pointless. It's meant for users with hundreds of processed keywords who need to look through things quickly.

Thanks!

LOL at this too, but it's good usability feedback from a fresh set of eyes.

1. You don't need search function on trial accounts
2. It should say "Search My Keywords" on that button, or similar.

Kind of like throwing my mom onto one of my sites to see how cluelessly lost she gets. You lose that fresh perspective quickly when you're so balls deep in your own site.

any update on the white label reports? i'll definitely be subscribing if/when they get implemented, so please let me know the status. thanks!
