The Official Trading Thread

Wow. feels like xmas.

Only experience I have is minoring in finance and trading bit coins. Screw it, no risk, no rewards. Noobie looking to learn.

Anybody have some good ideas on how to play mobile? Looking for a stock to buy that is in the mobile space.

So take a look at this today. Even though Nasdaq pulled back -1.20%, Twitter actually finished +1.60% for the day. The support level held perfectly as expected.

Short Corn (CN14) @ 514 6/8 points. 516 is resistance on the 30 minute chart dating back to April 9th.
Long Crude Oil (CLM14) @ 101.01. Moved up nicely over the last minor resistance I mentioned in the video which was at around 100.97. Should see it go to 101.20 before I will need to revisit the position and possibly consider reversing sides. Right now it is up to 101.06. So I am up 5 ticks.
Short Soybeans (SN14) 30 minutes chart. 110 has been a problem in the past twice, and we are now back there again and slowly being rejected. Took a short at @ 1507 6/8.

Here is how everything looks like at the moment:

Over $4,000 in gains from last night. I am keeping my Soybeans position for now. Reversing on Crude Oil to the short side. I'll continue staying in my short Corn position. Continue staying short Gold. Close my Yen position. Wheat position will remain open for now.

By the way, my gains from the positions from last night's trades have reached nearly $6,000. I did just close my short gold trade. I am completely out of my crude oil trade for $200 loss. I reversed my corn trade. Still in my yen trade.

I am doubling my size on Nasdaq. Currently up $575 on it. I have now added another 5 contracts @ 3550. Average of 3,546.62 now. Looking to make about $4,000-$6,000 on this trade today.

Good news for those of you that have shown interest. I will be beginning a $10,000 challenge this month! The terms are a bit different. In the past few months I have been working on a macro to notify me of signals, and then I use my discretion to decide on whether or not to take the trade. Obviously with any semi-automated system, you can't go in with huge size; we need to test things cautiously. Well I believe this is a good opportunity to throw it into the $10,000 challenge.

I believe I stated that I would be looking to turn $10,000 into $100,000 within a couple months, unfortunately that would not be feasible trading the futures market which is what my macro is optimized for. With options, it is possible to hit 500% return days on the risk capital, with futures, that is increasingly difficult. Having said that, I do believe that with proper trading I can complete this challenge within 6 months.

To clear things up for the naysayers, no this is not a fucking sleazy technique at trying to pitch you some product aka the macro. It will never be sold nor leased, that is a guarantee. It was created to help facilitate my trading habits, and help me take note of all the opportunities that are hitting the market that I previously couldn't manually handle to watch. Not to mention is that it is not a A-Z product, it requires good market knowledge and good technical trading experience to use it efficiently. Not a plug in play. It is simply tailored for my needs.

Just took a long trade on Gold. Fill at 1293.70. Lets see if I can swing this towards the upside now. The reversal of Corn to the long side looks pretty good, just had a good pop. I am also now back in my Crude Oil trade @ 101.10 on the long side.

Closed my Yen short for $2,250.00 profit. Bitches.

Double bottom in play possibly. Taking a long trade here now. Long @ 0.9746.
