Ringtones VS. Crush offers

Good call, Harry.

I've been working on nothing but Crush / IQ for the last couple of days with NADA, ZIP, ZERO.

Facebook won't approve the ads, another social media advertising company isn't giving me the amount of impressions that I need, and Google won't even run the things.

It's time to get really creative. I am going to try MySpace ads next and a few other things.

truly..crush isnt dead, but it is dying. There are some workarounds, but Fb is saavy to most of your ideas, and IQ are going the same route. There can only be so many people targeting that demo before the ctrs and conversions get saturated and spiral

Monty- I made a post to help...your post indicated you are struggling...I confirmed some of your thoughts. You can be an ass and confirm the obvious, but in the end, you are still struggling.
1) Submitting and getting ads in FB is simple. If you havent figured that out yet, re read all the related threads here in WF. The answers are in plain english, and crazy enough, work
2) Dont bounce around on diff ad platforms..I learned alot about FB by working JUST ON FB..not G, MSN, YSM, Social Media, Myspace, all at the same time..etc...dive into FB, spend an assload of time and educate yourself. Using the info here, and your time with FB, will produce results. There are no shortcuts-
The AM success formula is simple:
AM= WF info + time + money = profit (and some losses too :). It is that simple. There are no exceptions that ive figured out yet...

ps- bryn.me has a great 1 hour radio spot that has some helpful shit- check it-

Hey, thanks man. I wasn't trying to be an ass.

You know how this game goes. Usually, when everyone says "it's dead" it just means "I'm banking like crazy on this so stay away." :xmas-smiley-016:

I'll check out that other post you referenced and get back to using JUST FB.

Thanks.

Another FB resource that I find very helpful is neil t's blog (neilsweb.com) check the case studies...he has everything from campaign studies, demos, kw selection, getting ads approved etc etc...pretty cool stuff mang

crush on yahoo has been working great for me... actually my first affiliate campaign aside from clickbank shit. can't seem to make ringtones work though, they convert for me like ONCE per month.. any suggestions would be appreciated

I wanted to try a few flash ads to see if they'd do better but they all got denied for this reason:

Ad Issue(s): Mobile Content, Unacceptable Animation Length

Anyone know what that means? You not allowed to have animated swf's?

It got denied because of "Unacceptable Animation Length" duh

look for cheap, volume, teen targeted traffic and you will do well.

Hey, thanks. I've been targeting only the female, teen demo on AdChap. No conversions there, although I'm doing well there with a zip submit...lol.

With FB, I haven't figured out the magic bullet for getting an ad approved, although I have been resubmitting like a mofo.

I wonder if I can send them to some sort of opt-in page a la Aweber where they enter their name and e-mail...then I can e-mail them the crush offer.

Testing, testing, testing, testing, testing.

So what is the acceptable animation length? My shit was just a few second loop and it flashed when you moused over it. I've seen so many similar ads I don't see how mine are getting denied and ones that are almost exactly the same get approved ... I'm referring just to the ad itself, nothing to do with the lp.

Google's limit for animation is 30 seconds - at which point the animation must freeze to a static image.
