I've built one page sites for the facebook non-interns to look at that allowed me to get crush and ringtone ads by them. Ads which could then be rotated to to the real offer as soon as they were approved.
The ads aren't explicitly for crush and ringtones, so they don't convert quite as well as a normal ad, but, oddly, they have a much higher click through rates, so I'm paying less per click.
The key is to be creative in making your phoney-baloney site look like the ad would apply to it.
Since I've started doing this I've never had a facebook ad declined.
This is not necessarily true. You could be advertising a certain CPA product that also has a corresponding or similar Clickbank product.
Does FB still visit this board?

OK, so all Facebook ads were declined...even the newer ones I tried to post. Fine. I switched over to AdChap. I'm not getting many clicks yet and no conversions.

I get what your saying, and Ive done that. The thing that sucks is you cant get the direct ads that you want..ie images etc. Sure you can have for example, a music appreciation site or lyric site, get it approved, and then redirect to your ringtone site..I get that...but I dont think conversions will be as strong as if you had the correct ad image, kws etc.

So, that smaller PPC engine sucks. 10,000 impressions, 9 clicks, zero conversions.
If we do Google, we'll have to worry about QS and landing pages, Facebook has declined my ads.
How are you guys finding success with this? Crush or IQ? MySpace Ads, Yahoo or MSN?
I figure it's a long shot that anyone will answer here but wtf. My job interview this morning sucked which gives me all the more motivation to get this cranking.

I just re-read that. I'm trying to get them going on FB by signing up with other advertising companies that advertise on those networks.
From what I can see by looking at Q-cast on various mobile sites, the target demo here seems to be 13 - 18 YO African American females. That's not me being prejudiced, those are the facts.
So we should either:
A) Find a way to get them approved on FB and target that demo.
B) Find another area where that demo is likely to be (Q-Casts "sites also visited" is nice) and advertise there.
C) Find another advertising company that does social advertising, other than socialmedia.
D) Go trolling in the hip-hop forums...lol.
Alright so I'm getting all my ads approved, the problem now is CTR is so terribly shitty that they basically just stop running. I even tried just totally ripping off a couple other ads that I'd seen running all the time, and they did about the same. Everything was placement targeted, no demographics yet I did run them at the right times. Any thoughts?

you need to get a high CTR from the start or else you're fucked.
TIP- -launch 10 different campaigns with a budget of $50 each. Work out what type of campaigns gets a high CTR to start and then try variations of the highest CTR campaigns.
