@-joe- | You're absolutely right, we actually forgot about that. It's an easy fix I think if I remember chatting to our engineering team. I'll get on them about that today! The reason it displays that is because that is the keyword Google returns to us, so it's not really a bug it's just an actual keyword from Google that meets your criteria (means people search for xxxx.com) and then the tool tries to run xxxx.com with all TLD's so it'd be xxxx.com.com, xxxx.com.net, etc... make sense? Definitely something we can filter out! Apologies for that.

@Big_Joe | It should filter the .ORG's correctly about 98% of the time. We honestly pay for that data and the .ORG data is never 100%, we have no idea why, it's an issue with the whois service and server, we scrape it and pay for it and it's still inconsistent, it has something to do with that .ORG's are managed by a separate entity and it's just not as good data as com/net/etc... If too many requests are made in a row it'll show false positives or negative, it's dumb. It should work 98% of the time flawlessly though! Sorry about that! We're working on a new data source for a later release but no firm answers yet.

@alc | Same response as -joe- above, we'll work on that!

I apologize for these little details that are annoying. We sometimes get so focused on conceptual and future releases we forget these little things that annoy our users! Our deepest apologies.

What does everyone think of the interface, would you prefer to keep what we have or should we get something new and better? If so, how can we improve it?

Charts are coming soon to the rank tracker and a few other sweet features like backlink counts, alexa rank, etc... for the rank tracker.

I'm personally fine with the interface at the moment, and it works as well as I need it to :)

By the way, would it be possible to have a CSV export for the competition checker? I've just made a nice spreadsheet that comes up with a score for each domain, but at the moment it requires me to type in the page and domain authority manually, which is a pain.

Also, one other minor glitch (which I'd forgotten to mention in the last post) is when you type a keyword into the competition checker, if you press enter, all that happens is the page reloads, so instead you have to click the button. Is there any way this can be fixed? No problem if it's a hassle, just a minor thing that may (or may not, I don't know) be simple to fix. :)
 
Some feature requests:

- be able to save projects

- track keywords you have already used to look for domains (this way you can either re-run them or you don't forget you've already ran the search .eg. you last searched for this term X days ago, run it again? or view previous results?)

- be able to queue up keywords and then have it auto-export to a list of only the available domains

e.g. I load up 5 keywords and hit "queue". I come back 20 minutes later and I have a list of only the available domains waiting for me (with the specs I requested) :)
 
Just ordered a slot, i was wondering in what is it coded ?

And is there any tut or something ? I mean i see there is a limited amount of research we can do i don't wanna waste some cause of bad setting

With the rank tracker is it possible to get a general overview of where my keywords are ranked on one page, I dont want to have to click through on each domain to see how my keywords are doing.
Also anyway to upgrade from having 25 keywords track per account?
 
@-joe- | I will have the team add CSV export for competition tool to the list. I believe the reason it does not work when you press enter is to reduce the number of scraping attempts. Anyone worth their grain of salt can bypass it but it actually deters a lot of newbie people from scraping our stuff. I'll ask the team on it though!

@m4kia | Thanks for signing up, we hope you enjoy it! It's coded in a few languages, there is the server processing part, the front interface, API's, etc.. it's a mixture :) --- I would watch some of the videos. We are creating a "Getting Started" section that'll debut soon to help with that!

@deanimus | YES! We have a completely overhauled rank tracker rolling out soon that'll fix that issue for you! It's so annoying, I feel your pain (we use our own tools!). We will be adding and allowing more domains soon!

Been using this since the beginnings, still very happy with it.

Any news on the .uk domains yet? if i remember you mentioned some months ago you where looking into an api that could handle it.

We appreciate everyone of our loyal customers and really do put you first when building tools, it's about providing value, not making money! We make money by providing value FIRST! --- In regards to the .uk, we are still working on it. We found a sexy API to do that, unfortunately, it's so expensive that we'd have to charge like $100 / mo per customer to support the fee, which is NOT going to happen. They wanted to charge like 5c per lookup, which is not ideal because we lookup 200 domains per lookup. We're still searching for a source to integrate with or scrape for accurate data.
 
Sure, i understand the problem!

Have you contacted the UK domain name registry Nominet directly?
If i remember is doesnt cost very much at all to become your own uk registrar, something like £400. Peanuts compared to icann.
 
This tool will probably either make me a ton of cash or break because I keep registering more domains
 
Would it be possible to have a show all domains for the rank tracker.

Since there is a limit of 25 words you might as well just show them all instead of having to click each domain.

Keep registering domains :) Glad the tool is serving you well. We have hundreds and hundreds of customers that are experiencing great success with PositionSniper! You should be too!

The rank tracker features are expanding too... we are going to show alexa rank and backlinks for each domain you're tracking! :) Hopefully people like that.

Yes just repeating myself to remind about the rank tracker two things I would love is to see all domains at once so not to have to click one by one to view info. I only use one KW for each of my sites since the count is so limited. That brings me to the other request to be able to add much more to the count 20 or 25 is way too limited thanks.
