Just bought a few days ago and need some help or adviceto get better EMD. The video tutorial is "too basic".

For example:
1. Is it better to start with 1-word or 2-word keywords?
2. Range of 1000 - 5000 is better or 1000 to 2000?

Pls share your experience.

I go up to 5 words. I search 3000-10000 or so some times splitting that range in half. Once I get a list I think check the ones I like with competitive module

@alc - We will be expanding the keyword limit but not sure by how much. Any suggestions? We also will be changing the rank tracker so it's easier to use!

@wkfmij - I responded to your PM, at least I think that was you. You want to use a tighter filter for most cases. Some people have great luck doing something like 3,000 to 10,000 and I know some have found EMD's with 100,000 monthly searches using PositionSniper. However, the tighter the filter, the better the results because the tool digs deeper so you find keywords that are not used up. Please try a tighter filter and let me know how that works for you. I want you to be completely satisfied :)

@verbose - Glad it's working out for you! Thanks for chiming in and providing value.

@lenting - I like to play a Jedi.

Thank you everyone for being valued and loyal customers. It's appreciated.

I apologize everyone. We've been working on it the past 3 hours non-stop. There is a problem with the API from Google. According to the forums, hundreds of other API users are experiencing the same issue. We are working to resolve this issue with Google, but it can take more than a strong-arm to get a fix from Google, they're not exactly the most accessible company.

I am hoping to have a resolution in place later tonight or tomorrow at the latest. I will update this forum FIRST as soon as I know more.

Thank you for your patience in this matter and we hope to resolve it quickly. Our hands are tied until we hear from Google or they fix it.

Thanks,
David

Update:

Google has decided to reject our API access along with hundreds of other API paying users. Because of this, we do not have access to Google's data until we get it re-activated. I've been back and forth with a Google rep all day and two of them are trying to get us re-activated. We have never broken their ToS and always comply with all policies, so we're not sure why this happened as there are many reputable companies that also got rejected that I know of. I've talked to a few CEOs and they are also having issues.

We are in the middle of working it out. I do not have a date on when it'll be fixed, but we're working round the clock, literally.

The rank tracker and competitive analysis functions will continue to work as normal.

Thank you for your understanding and support during this troubling time.

Regards,
David

UPDATE:

We have our API access restored for the time being. We're still going through a few things with Google, but we're back online and operational!!!

Thanks everyone for being patient and loyal customers. We are BACK ONLINE and 100% operational!

Regards,
David Kauzlaric

We are hoping to have the new rank tracker done within 2-3 weeks. It'll be much easier to use, give you more data, and look much prettier! We are also redoing the regular interface so it's a little nicer and cleaner to use. Hopefully getting better export functionality added by then as well!
