Police officers are now being trained how to deal with open carry activists

Regardless of my stance on weaponry, I think the cop handled this well.

He didn't risk anything. That would be the cops risking getting innocent bystanders killed (not this cop of course, but many cops). You have an odd method for who to blame. I'm guessing your the same guy who blames rape on girls wearing short skirts (though I'm sure 75% of Wickedfire will give me shit for using that example).

hey man, if she's wearing a tiny skirt, we all know that is code for please run a triple penetration train on me in the mens bathroom of this skeezy nightclub.

You can open carry anything short of an RPG in Idaho and no one bats an eye. Same in Wyoming, not at all unusual to see a strapped dude.

What was weird though, I was out for breakfast with my kids about a year and a half ago, and three tables over there were two dudes strapped, talking about how many Mexicans they'd shot. Seems they were bounty hunters. Is there a profession lower (besides armed forces)?

Border patrol? I have an acquaintance who is with BP in Arizona, they get on quads and patrol the borders strapped to the teeth. Not sure what their ROEs are, but he said it wasn't uncommon to hear about a gunfight with illegal traffickers at least a couple times a month (this was in 2010).

Edit: Border patrol is an actual government-funded job. Re-reading the description, I realized I just made it sound like a good fuckin' time.
