NEW Facebook Ads

anyone have trouble with city option, it just doesnt find any city. i tried with multiple cities, even changing countries but it just seems broken right now

when i see the {min} - {max} on my campaigns. i click on a single ad and see the suggested bid. then do that for 3 and average it.

not sure if it works for you guys

from what location are ads reviewed? example:

someone with a UK ip, is using a fb account that states theyre from the US to create the ad, and theyre targeting JAP demographic only.. will the ad creative be reviewed from a US, JAP or UK fb rep.

..or are they all reviewed from the US?

if its during US business hours then US...if not then it will be reviewed in Ireland.

I've been monitoring my campaign that's been running for about 20 minutes. It was running solid for those 20 minutes, but all impressions / clicks have stopped.

Any reason for this?

lololol. I just started posting ads on facebook today and got the funniest ad rejection.

Ad picture: cute dog lying down with puppy eyes at camera.
Rejection reason: The picture in your ad is not suitable to appear on facebook.

wow...I can see this is going to be interesting

And again -- not getting any impressions from facebook. This time I have my bid way over their suggested amount, my target is over 200,00 on one ad, and over 3 million on the other.

Is this a standard thing with facebook?

worth moving to CPM ? Am paying 55 cents a click now .

Also , is there a way to make sure facebook doesn't show my ad to the same people again?

.052% CTR is most likely going to totally bomb if you switch it to CPM.(but ya don't know til ya test) Lately I've noticed that CPM ads in general aren't doing to well. The important thing is to monitor the avg. CPC's. Most of my very high CTR ads won't do nearly half the CTR when I switch them to CPM but if my overall click cost is lower that's all that matters. (check stackthatmoney.com there is a case study on this there)

CPM impressions most likely don't get prime spots like they used to and that is why ad performance has been very in consistent between CPC and CPM.

To answer your second question, no facebook does not have any type of frequency cap.

Nevermind -- sorry I'm new. It's just pacing my daily spend limit, so I'm getting spurts of clicks every hour or so. I'll make sure I update it for tomorrow!
