NEW Facebook Ads

Facebook ad creatives are broken down into 3 parts and their importance is weighted as follows:

If the adcopy is only 1/10th of a factor in affecting the CTR, guess how much it affects CR%?

short answer: 0%

long answer: zeroooooooooooooooooooooooooo percent

If you want to tweak your CR%, rotate offers to see which one converts best, this is if you're direct linking. If you have a lander, then you should be split testing variables on your page. Adcopy has little to nothing to do with CR% on FB.

For FB, you should always try to optimize for a good CTR, but if your offer doesn't convert then you're pretty screwed too, so test both simultaneously.
lol this guy ^

I ASSIGN ARBITRARY MATHEMATICAL VALUES TO THINGS THAT MAKE MY BRAIN HURT

Well I guess you guys sure showed me.

The last thing I ever split test is the copy and it rarely brings a noticeable change in CTR let alone CR%, to each his I own I guess. I probably just write really shitty copy.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply Garrett.

Facebook buggy - anyone else? it keeps showing me my stats from march 28th - won't show fresh stats.

Also changing back and forth from active/paused... kinda scared..

The thing I realized is that you can't sell an offer in a dinky Facebook ad and you're losing alot of clicks simply by mentioning what youre gonna try to sell them when they click through. get people to click and then let your lander do ALL the selling ;)

I've recently started using FB to sell one of my products but I've had a *very* rough time getting ads approved when doing the above - using news style or story style copy (the content of the ad does not accurately reflect the product or service blah blah blah).

Can you offer some suggestions for easier ad approvals when you're not directly stating, "this is what I've got, buy it now", or is it a matter of resubmitting over and over again? Thanks in advance.

I havent had any ad approval issues in a long time now. The offers I run I know they are 100% supportive of though, so that may be the difference. Do you think they would deny "Teach Your Child Read" courses? You can get away with alot more I think if you have something nobody can refute as being shitty

Word of advice, don't keep resubmitting the same exact ad over and over again to hope it will be approved sooner or later. Change up the ad just a bit each time, otherwise they'll can your account.

I guess you're right. I'm sure my offer has a lot to do with it (diet). Converts quite well when linking direct, but gets disapproved 9 out of 10 times because it looks like the typical rebill lander (although it isn't). Thanks.

I hear you on that. I always try to switch things up, but again, it's a (frustrating) crap shoot.
