NEW Facebook Ads

Also - does anyone know why facebook chooses to stop serving impressions randomly on ads > 0.2CTR%?

No idea! I've had this problem for the past couple days, I use to be able to gets imps on ads with high CTRs / low bids. Now the only way to get volume is to increase bid/thus ultimately decreasing my ROI, fuck you FB.

Seems like Facebook is messed up lately. I've seen my click prices skyrocket.. certain accounts have higher suggested bids than others, which might mean they are slapping accounts now or is a bug of some kind. Anyone want to corroborate?

I corroborate.

i think the suggested bid is based on your "Liftetime ctr" but i'm not certain.

what ive learned in the last two months (for me)

CTR doesnt mean SHIT: my best performing ad that is getting me 600%-800% ROI every single day of the week has between .052 and .1 CTR at BEST.

Account history is everything: opened up a new account, new name, new CC and am getting WAY higher CPCs. Also, my ad positioning has been getting better as time goes on (ive concluded) and my CPC (average and suggested min/max) has been going down down down.

I've found ads that have crazy high ctrs but only know that if it dont convert, it dont convert.

Oh ya, and most affiliate networks just straight up scrub. No news to anyone here. Feel free to take what I just said as facts or call me a liar. But it is my truth, and I'm banking on it.

This has been happening to me a lot recently too. I have ads with .5+ CTRs that aren't getting impressions unless I bid super high, which results in FB jacking up my CPCs too.

Try remaking the campaign. That's worked for some of my ads.

Facebook will not tolerate behavior that users may find annoying or abusive, or that violates our Terms of Use or Advertising Guidelines. You have used your account to submit ads that are explicitly prohibited by our ad policies. As a result, your account has been permanently disabled.

We will not be able to reactivate your account, nor will you be able to recover any content within the account. You will also not be permitted to create a new account to restart your Facebook advertising. This decision is final.

Son of a bitch.

What did you do to get permafucked by them?

Which dating offers were you pushing? Some of them are permabanned from FB and they'll ban your account without question. If its BeNaughty, then I think you're SOL.

They'll also ban you if you keep resubmitting the same ad that they keep having to disapprove, just ask mGrunin.

Anyone else getting hardly any impressions today? Campaigns that have been running steady for weeks/months now all of the sudden don't get impressions...

So what do you guys think of the new 'Creative Library' feature?

If only those ads in there were pre-approved so I could be one click away from serving up my choice of cleavage. However, since they're not, I don't think I'll have much use for this new feature.

I know click fraud has become pretty bad on Facebook, but I'm seeing 35-40% now. Shits out of control. A year or so ago click charges tended to be more in your favor, if not spot on. Good way to boost earnings I suppose.

Not just international clicks either (but a bit part of the problem). Phantom clicks that never even hit my server.
