Wickedfire: Gets up, offended. "What have we ever done that makes you treat us so disrespectful? If you'd come to us in friendship, then this scum that's ruining your business would be suffering this very day. And if by chance an honest woman like yourself made enemies then they would become our enemies. And then they would fear you."
You: "Be my friend? Wickedfire?"
Wickedfire: Pssshh - bow down and kiss the ring and we'll see what we can do.

The OP just needed an attitude adjustment, she's still reeling from being betrayed and doesn't know what the next step should be.

I will say, revenge and direct competition is probably the least profitable thing she can do.

You have to innovate your marketing and business model, try to find opportunities you can get to faster than your competitor.

While he is posting crap about your business, you are winning new clients.

GET MAD. GIVE A DAMN.

Thanks to everyone again, I really needed an attitude adjustment. I also received some great advice, which I'll implement right away. I'll keep you posted. When I get to the revenge part, I'll seek your wisdom again.

Infact i'm unsure why Guerilla even 'liked' Cheshires post because in my opinion, doing what he said ^^^ is about the worst thing you could do, because it'll make no positive difference to your business and is purely an act of revenge and frustration that'll only make matters worse for yourself.

If someone started pouring oil on my driveway and fucking with my car, i wouldn't back down, i'd quadruple my efforts to destroy them.

Think smart. Not with your emotions.
 
If you happen to go down the destroying him route, and know his website (I skimmed) then PM me. I have an idea on how to fuck his site up that I came up with recently. Only problem is, it will require about 5 minutes of work, once a week, forever (or until he backs off)

This is kind of a difficult crowd to make inroads with, and being blonde I am sure you have run into situations similar to this through out your life. If you could please share a picture of yourself holding in some manor a spoon you will quickly gain major respect here @ WickedFire. Now if you show your breasts while holding said spoon the WickedFire army will suite up and go to war for you, they will fucking destroy your competitor and maybe even kill his dog. The choice is yours. If you want to save your business I suggest you think long and hard about your options here.

Your site is dropping ranks but you don't want to do anything black/grey for that website?

Set up new website selling the same shit, use some blacker methods on the new one and continue organically growing the other.

Simply outmarket him. Basic Sun Tzu Art of War stuff. Where he is not, be there. What he doesn't sell, sell. Lower prices if you have to. Bundle items. Have giveaways. Reach out to niche blogs and forums, do what he is unwilling to do.

Seize every opportunity he does not.

I did this to an ecomm competitor between 2002 and 2006. I helped drive him out of business. He had everything I did not except hustle and creativity.

I have faced similar situation with my close friends and I am thinking of stopp talking to them and today I will do. I lost my smartphone in the house which is really affecting the business.
