Hmm... destabilizing in a way we see it today? I don't think Russia have any business in it, they are actually losing money because of it. Before all that mess situation was "stable" for RF. Sure, corrupted Ukrainian gov etc. but situation was better than it is now (for people). RF was ok with the old setup also. Now they are sort of ok as well because they took the control over Crimea. I think I have lost my faith into democracy.
Actually I was a strong pro UE and US, West generally. Things that are going on since the June makes me think however. Sure, I'm always open to "conspiracy theories" to evaluate them and confront with the facts. In this case I just don't see the reason RF should fucked up Ukraine so heavily.

I have to fly to Moldova in September for business stuffs... This incident and the other from a few weeks ago are the only ones that are making me a tad apprehensive about it. The other ground stuff going on doesn't really have an effect because negotiating with either side when you are boots on the ground isn't as challenging as say, being able to do absolutely nothing when your plane is mistaken for a troop transport and taken the fuck out with a missile...

Moldova is ok, you don't need to worry about your flight in September (unless situation changes). My business partner is right now on a way to Bulgaria via Romania and all is normal out there. Also they don't fly that much over Ukraine after what have occurred.
And I agree, it's pointless to waste time thinking about those fuckers. On the other hand, it does make me worried because I still haven't decided where I want to settle (and I like places in my country) but, prefer to watch mess from ten thousand miles away instead of being involved. Just different situation.
