uhmm.. are we really comparing a possible life and death scenario to an IP cloaker here?
Also, people need to get a grip and realize you dont own your IP ( in most cases ). Thats not your IP to protect and do with as you please. Its not your special right that you have an IP address.
So someone harvested it.. big deal. Get a new one and turn off your computer. God only knows what Google, Yahoo, other affiliates, and ad networks do with your IP. Do you get upset when an ad network like Google or TrafficVance drop a cookie on you and record your IP, then block you from seeing the same advertisement again because of frequency capping?
Like the post right above yours? Or Dickrolling people? Making them jump through your redirect scripts? It all boils down to your own ethics and how much you want people to trust your word. Kthxbye.

Probably because scraping sig IPs has nothing to do with being a mod.
His site, other sites, cakes chat, etc. This shit was discussed here and in Cakes chat in great detail a while back. Anyone surprised that someone has been scraping IPs here is missing the larger picture that many people have been doing the same, even before Nick originally brought up his cloaking script.

On a serious note, it's already been tried. XRumer + sig pixel + EPN cookie == win, especially if you want to get someone banned. Wait, EPN says that can't be done. I'm just kidding, obviously.
