JP Grunin: From $10,000 to $100,000 in 6 months.

2nd place was Steven Cohen (SAC Capital Advisors) - $2.4 billion( Funny thing is he agreed to pay $1.2 Billion in criminal settlement charges but zero jail time. Sounds like a nice little speeding ticket)

Don't worry, his manifesto is coming.

HE'S BACK!!!!!

SFC senior Martin Grunin says he is already a financial trader who is playing the markets for big stakes -- hundreds of thousands of dollars.....

Grunin said that since May 2012 he has made over $200,000 in gains from the stocks and options he has been involved in. "I paid $96,000 in commissions last year," he said.

WTF?
So, its the second szenario... Bad for him.
But i was pretty much correct, i must say.

Let's get a little philosophical here.

"You only live once, that's the way I see it. I'm not going to sit here living a mediocre lifestyle if I'm only going to be around once."

This isn't aimed at MGrunin directly, but to the whole #YOLO movement. If we only live once, then what — the corollary to that is we're dead forever. If death is eternal, why chase for scraps in life; because ultimately even the apex of accomplishment and success is nil compared to the infinity of never being again. Why strive?

There is no proof that he's automated, let alone the performance reflecting a production account. It could be demo or pure fabrication. All he shows is a annotated chart and a spreadsheet.

Interesting point, never thought about it that way. But I suppose if you don't do something then it makes this fleeting life pretty boring and potentially uncomfortable.

I mean you could then argue if you are likely to live for 80 years then why would you care if someone tortured you for say 30 minutes.
