Actually, there is some truth to your statement.
I have a married friend who fucks hookers all the time.
I could never understand it. If you want to fuck around, then just do it, no need for hookers.
But now that I have a woman I'm about to marry, I'm beginning to think that that's pretty much what I'm going to be doing as well.
I'm not talking about $10-for-a-blowjob-in-a-parking-lot crack whores, but decent escorts.
I was merely making a statement in favour of the legitimacy and benefit of professional prostitution. Why would you get married and then fuck around?
Well, look at it this way. I found a woman I want to spend the rest of my life with. But that doesn't mean my instincts of wanting to fuck every more-or-less attractive pussy in the vicinity disappeared.
I don't want/need another woman to fall in love with, but at the same time I wouldn't mind grabbing onto a different pair of titties once in a while.
I can either suppress it or accept it. And if I accept it, then fucking hookers seems much less problematic on many levels than hooking up with random chicks.
This is why the concept of polyamoury fails so often. Its not a case of 'suppress it or accept it' by any means. I find it astounding that the thought of trying to communicate with your fiancee hasn't even crossed your mind - if thats not an option then why the fuck are you going to marry someone you can't communicate with reasonably and who can't fulfil you sexually? The world is full of idiots.
Sounds like female logic. I commend him for being honest with himself. What is he supposed to communicate with his fiancee about? How he would like her to morph into a different woman every few weeks?

Admitting things to yourself is easy, admitting it to other people is the hard part. If you're not suited to one person then don't fucking lie about it, find someone who's sexually compatible with you. Don't settle for someone who's not right and fuck up the next few years for both of you. Whats the point?
He's supposed to communicate that he's not capable of being monogamous and work on a solution that both parties are comfortable with. Whether thats one of any number of arrangements possible, or calling it quits because its obviously fucked up.
When it comes down to it, theres always more than one person you'll be attracted to. if you already know that then whats the point of staying with someone you aren't attracted to enough to control your urges and not cheat?
If this is all to do with the kind of women you're exposed that are beyond all reason and progressive thinking then sucks to be you I guess. I have a hard time believing that someone who isn't mature enough to be honest with someone he wants to spend his life with is mature enough to be fucking one partner never mind any more than that.

She knows about my intentions. As a matter of fact using hookers was her idea more than it was mine.
We talked about it. It boiled down to two things:
- Either I would have to lie to the other girls I'm hooking up with, and pretend like I'm single and genuinely interested in them.
or
- I would be fucking worst sluts ever who wouldn't give a shit, which would mean a pretty high chance of ending up with an std sooner or later, regardless of protection methods.
On top of that, she fears that I could actually end up falling in love with some other woman if I started hooking up regularly.
So as I posted above, using hookers seems like a better choice for more than one reason.

You are right and I apologies and also sincerely commend you on discussing it. However please don't think all poly women are skanky sluts. Some are very capable of maintaining a fulfilling casual relationship/ fuck buddy arrangement, and if your wife is up to becoming friends with these women it can help a great deal. Jealousy is a bitch, but meeting the people and even befriending them helps you realise you aren't losing anything and have a whole lot to gain. Then again its not for everyone. I really do wish you the best and thank you for restoring some faith in humanity.
As for that I'm for quite the opposite, and women are just as liable to have this drive too. I just don't condone cheating. Consensual and responsible non monogamy is the way forward.

I married a woman who didn't believe in polyamoury, having been completely honest that I didn't believe in monogamy, and two years later she realised all on her own that monogamy really was stupid and maybe we should give this polyamoury thing a try.
Six years after that, she decided she really did prefer monogamy, took the kids and left.
Probably something to do with the 25 year old hottie I moved into the house.
