i've had nothing but good experiences with Hydra, but i have to admit, i would feel much better if there was a resolution to this thread.

Totally agree, especially now that my AM is quitting. Freaking out a bit right now.

Just shot my AM a blackberry message pushing them to respond here.. let's see what happens..

wowsers, Van is leaving ........

There may be hope for Hydra yet. This is the first positive thing I've heard.

Hi,

My last day with Hydra is tomorrow, Thursday.
I will be sending your new Affiliate Manager’s contact information shortly.
Within the meantime, if there’s anything that I can do to help, please let me know.

It’s truly been a pleasure working with you.

Sincerely,
Van

Sucks everyone is leaving, but oh well. Just move your camps

I've been with Hydra over a year and never had a problem.

It's sad to see them falling apart before our very eyes. Oh well.

I wonder if this fits in the "no press is bad press"? Sure not motivating me to ever sign up.
I don't think it's that.
I don't work with hydra and have no inside information or w/e, but looking at it from the outside:

  1. Co-Founder (who in theory controlled #2) Fired
  2. Large change in how they implement their policies.
  3. Several AMs(who have contact with those affected by #2) Leave
It doesn't take much to make those all interconnected.
And it makes them look completely unstable. Even allowing for 2 sides of the story on this thread, that's really bad.

I think they've done themselves a tremendous disservice by not responding here. The AMs leaving probably wouldn'tve even been brought up on WF if this thread was handled when it was started. Left unattended I have a suspicion this will become the "bitch about hydra" thread.

The clear difference that makes Hydra look really bad is when you compare how Copeac, Ads4Dough, etc would have handled this same situation. There would has been a lot more transparency versus radio silence.

still nothing from them? wow, i would think somebody would say something... is it possible they dont even know that their secret is out?

Hi heard about these resignations from my AM a few days back. She was sad to see some of her friends go and swore up and down that she was staying and that this was continued fallout from the firings a few weeks ago.

I've visited Hydra and the work environment there is pretty hip and young. It seemed that people enjoyed each other quite a bit. It seemed like a healthy company. Certainly could see this type of loyalty being developed in that environment.

I'm a little surprised that so many people are quitting in this job economy though. But young people are more likely to quit than older ones.

Until I see something besides firings and resignations, I will continue to trust my personal experiences.
