Facebook Social Ads

Do they tell you whether or not your bid is too low like adwords does?

Do they determine max bid based on other similar ads - like other ones in your niche - or how does it work?

I'm still trying to have one of the ad reps tell me why my legit offers (gamefly, some educational things, other similar ones) were rejected. It's getting annoying, all of this wasted time..

(thanks for all the answers too..)

$30k/day with FB

got a nice lil email from my facebook rep this morning, i guess all that complaining at affiliate summit you guys did is about to pay off...

" [FONT=&quot]I wanted to reach out to you because I have some great news. We are changing some of the internal restrictions that we place on advertisers, and at our discretion, will be opening up spend caps. You fall into this category and I will be able to immediately increase your daily spend limit to $30k. To do so, I simply need you to fill out the attached form with a photocopy of a drivers license, and return it via fax.

Further, we will be announcing some new advertising guideline changes in which we will be re-allowing certain offers that have been banned in the past. This is very exciting news as some of these categories are among the most popular in the affiliate world and it will dramatically increase the number of offers that you will be able to push. Further, it will alleviate a lot of the disapproved ads that you have faced in the past. Expect an email from me shortly with the specifics.

I wanted to make sure that we could raise your daily spend limit to $30k ahead of time, so that when the new guidelines are announced, you can hit the ground running."

sweet.

30k a day, you must be balling.

it's going to be a bloodbath when they announce some restrctions lifted. or they probably won't announce it, just start approving ads

Does any of those legit offers allow US traffic, because if they don't then that right there is the main reason they are not getting through.

Even if your not targeting the US, the ad approval team is in the US and they will be re-directed to a different offer then the one your promoting if the offer itself does not allow US based traffic.

They are giving those out like their hot.

I have a doubt regarding targeting the ads..
suppose I want to target say a certain keyword and if that keyword does
not come in the popup tooltip box, can I still targeting the keyword..knowing that there'll definitely some people who'll fall in my category.

Anyone else just get targeted and DESTROYED for illegal ads? I had some hidden pretty well in other campaigns, but they must be running some kind of script and found most of them. Just when I got a really profitable one in, too...

did you need to post this in 2 separate threads?

by illegal you mean against facebook policy? no i wasnt running anything that was against their policy...but im sure they are using scripts and humans to delete "bad" ads.

this thread hadn't been added to in a while, so after posting on it I thought people might not see it and wanted to use a more recent one. sorry for the double post.

I've had individual ads deleted before, but this one was just on a much greater scale. caught me off guard.

I need a FB rep to help me raise my daily limit ASAP! It's currently at $250 and I need it in the $1000+ range to scale my profitable campaigns. Can anyone help me quickly? I'm willing to prepare with a CC or get a full cavity search or whatever the hell it takes!
