Looks like they made the change today over to Social Ads...I launched my first ad & interface is similar with some changes...hopefully they fixed the issue with impressions slowing down & stopping

need to figure out how best to take advantage of their new "Pages" Ads

Man are you guys fast. This changed probably happened like an hour ago (last night after midnight I started an ad and it was still on the old system)

And here I am walking my dog and ready to be the first to post about it on my blackberry...

You guys are good. That's why o joined.

Any advice on which ad networks have 220x110 ads or is everyone doing they own mashups like me?

cool, keep us posted stroz...I can't access my facebook campaigns during the day (at work) so I'll just live vicarously through you all.

Launched last night, but i do not see any difference accept for the setup. And the in pages feature.

Anyone able to pop an add off yet? Have they automated the review process? IE- Not left it up to college kids to decide what is spam what is not.

Have they issued a clear TOS on what IS allowed to be Linked to and What is Not?

First thing I thought when I seen it this morning was... zips back alive for FB?

Someone let me know - My eyes burn - Im going back to bed :(

I tried to put up an email submit, almost instantly disabled. Though I didn't try anything to get around it, I'm sure theres a way.

I got a dating flyer up. 6 clicks before traffic stopped.

CTR seems much lower this time too :(

Answer to all of your questions - I doubt it.

You think they'd launch a new ad product with the same mistakes as the old one? Pretty doubtful that anything will change.

If everyone could please keep quiet in this thread for at least a week, maybe FB won't react so quickly to change things & piss off advertisers.

Don't give out your tricks, don't tell us how to get around things, just wait a little bit... okay?

I had a few of my dating offers denied but one accepted. Don't really know why. I actually had the same ad in canada and US and only the canada one is showing.

PM me if you have any good advice on what is performing well... How can we take advantage of pages too??

I can share what i've been doing as well...

Oh please. If anyone knows how to bank hard core they're not going to share it on a forum. However, this thread is just about tips and things to help you along. I've, myself, have learned alot from the wf folks and if I can give back at all I'm going to, so bugger the fuck off. :boid:

There are some pretty dumb people here - I made a killing off of the advice I got last time. Remember - Facebook DOES look at WickedFire, and they basically posted here last time to tell us all to go fuck ourselves.

How do I really feel? I feel like TVMatt is in the wrong place...
I feel like he's too stupid to realize people come here for help...
I feel as if he will never have any luck with women
I feel he may be a douchebag...
I feel a lot of things... mostly titties and high though...

...So the way you repay the forum that helped you out so much last time, is by telling everyone else to shut up. Nice.

FB may eventually disable your active one - It could've just slipped by their filters (which are human, from what I can tell). FB told me that they're really not keen on any pages that require a user to enter personal information before getting what's promised in the ad - This includes dating offers, zip submits, email submits, etc. Now, if there was a dating offer that allowed a user to check out the other users on the site before giving any info over, apparently this is ok by them, but we all know that an offer like that would never convert profitably.

Just tread lightly with them - If many ads are disabled, and you're making a bunch of money from the active one, don't email their support, as you pretty much have an equal chance of them unpausing the disabled ads, as disabling the running ad. As long as you have one ad up in the new system, that's all you need. No reason for multiple accounts anymore, either.

All of the rules from the previous system apparently still apply, as well, so I wouldn't bank on anything working long term that was disabled in the old system. Just my 2 cents.

Give me a break tvmatt, I'm sure you want the tips... FB's not concerned about us here anymore - Nobody is going to post on how to scam the system or create a million accounts, when they've removed all of the roadblocks. If they feel like banning zip submits again because of people like wsmith810 posting here high (that seems normal tho, am I right? :rasta:), so be it. Won't affect me, staying legit and all...

I will second that. I'm still regretting it.
