Ask Nicky Anything About His Past Thread.

Good for you getting out of the drug mess. I think everyone knows someone these days, who's been affected by that shit.

As for the drama, this thread etc. Everyone has said their piece now. Hopefully this all blows over and everyone is happy they had their pound of flesh.

Keep banking everyone, don't get caught in the drama for too long, there's $$ to be made.

During your time in jail, did you have support? Not necessarily on the inside, but from outside family/friends?

At that time my family really wanted me to be there. They even showed up at my bail hearing and told them to raise my bail to keep me in there. At the time I was PISSED, but I know now that it probably saved my life.

My folks sent me some cash for canteen, which is like, you can order ramen noodles and peanut butter and stuff like that.

When I decided I wanted to quit being a knucklehead, they were supportive and were there for my court stuff.

+REP bro. It takes alot to be honest about doing time and being a convicted felon. Many people just look at us as "convicts" or "felons." Some people hit rock bottom and that is what they need to shape up. Some never get their acts together.

People like you should be praised for their accomplishments as opposed to ostracized for your past. Especially when the recidivism rate is 85% in the US. We are one of the few 15% who made it and turned a new leaf.

Nicky Cakes doesn't seem too hard or tough prison nick name. Was that your nick name in prison? I am sure the home boys had a different one, right?

Good shit. I just took 9 months clean last week!
OC and crystal... nasty kick.

How much time you have?

Glad they threw you in Jail. Otherwise you would have ended up dead and we would have had the pleasure of such soaps that we had...

But shit man.. I always thought you were like that Quadzilla guy from your tag line..
But all you did was improper use of computer.. that what you said?

H is a mean bastard. I freaked out once when one of my friends ODed on me and a couple friends. Froth and all that... And it was the first time I ever saw someone shoot themselves with H.. Number 4 as it is called. Pure Burma Grade. We had to force handful of salt in his mouth and ran like Crazy around a church half dragging him. Someone among us told that it was the way to save him lol... After an hour he became extra alert asking what happened...

Hope you never go back that road again...
But it sure must have been fun eh... in the beginning?

My Question.. Do you also do well on Adwords? Have they ban you yet??
Or you don't like Adwords much...?

were you that smart? to go to harvard?
Anyone can get into the extension program, there are no requirements

@Nickycakes:
Has the experience at the college helped you out? Or do most people disregard it because it was the extension program? What were the classes like? Did you do any networking that paid off?

How was it like to make the move from a thug to a nerd? Did you have any battles you fought within you regarding the change? I'm guessing you had some old friends from your "previous life" which you had to leave behind due to your new change. Did you ever start to feel like you were in the wrong place by being around 4 eyed geeks instead of your usual hardcore fellas? (or did you just stay as a loner during these "hard times" ?)

Most people in this industry aren't "nerds" by definition. I was pretty surprised by that at my first conference. I did move away from home though. I don't talk to my old friends much but I have some of them on facebook.

Anyone can take classes at the extension school, but to get into the degree program you need to do really well your first semester and then apply.

Most of the classes are the same profs and same assignments that the kids are taking in the day school undergrad program. I don't feel like it helped me out, no, and I didn't do any networking while I was there. I did learn a bit in a couple of the computer science courses, mostly my algorithms ones, but that's about it. I just straight up can't stand school. Even stuff I'm interested in like history I can't pay attention. *shrug*

you ever get old high school friends or people you never talked to much hitting you up asking you to teach them affiliate marketing?

I respect your story. I was born in frederick and lived in maryland and pennsylvania for a significant portion of my life. Baltimore is a fucking terrible place for that kind of crap where I've used and abused and had many friends around that area addicted to smack, coke, oxys, whatever. Had a job in frederick before I moved west and it was a shitty year, I had nothing together and a lot of my friends were addicts. The only decent drug experience from there was when I went to the aquarium on 2 hits of acid. I was a new man when I walked out of that place.

I'm glad I got out obviously. I still lead a pretty hedonistic lifestyle that I need to clean up, I'm trying to work on it.

The hardest would be quitting everything altogether. You say you don't drink anymore, I'm not sure I could do that. Congrats, since you've come out of it all and are in a better place now.

Did anyone ever try to rape you in prison? Serious Q? This was always my num1 fear of going to jail.
