While not specifically a "buy xxx" keyword, I've had success using ads for specific models/brands. For example, if you are looking to buy a camera, you don't type in digital camera - you type in the brand and model - canon a710.

Basically just look at different brands for a product - then break it down into sub-categories (brand families; powershot, rebel, etc.) and then finally model numbers.

I did pretty well with MaxBounty today... spent $0.16 on one click, earned $18 in commission. Beginner's luck. :D

That was probaly a ringtone, arz?

Yea good luck withthe ringtones. If you can get get 20 of those sales in a day youre doign good.

I set up 9 keywords, and the click came through the third most popular one. It wasn't through AdWords, btw.

Oh, and I guess I broke one of MaxBounty's rules by using my own ad copy instead of the one from them. JP Sauve from MB mentioned elsewhere that if you want to use your own ad copy for PPC you have to run it by them first. Oops...I better do that.

Hi Chris, a few suggestions could be;

buy cheap xxxxx
buy xxxxx secrets
buy xxxxx online
buy xxxxx medication

buy xxxxx today
buy xxxxx wholesale

I've never had to do that and I've been running with them for awhile now.

But back on topic, I've had success with targeting companies/products that are doing nationwide TV advertising. They see it on TV, but go to buy online.

Chris are you using one product per landing page or listing multiple related products per landing page? Which way gets better conversions for you?

What do you guys look for in an offer/program to promote via PPC? It seems the obvious factors would be high payout, decent search volume, low PPC cost. What else do you look for? What are some red flags that tell you "this program will suck" and get you to move on to others?

Do you go for pretty high-paying offers, or have some of you had success with $2-$5 high-volume cheap-traffic offers too? Which would you start with?

Conversion rate is a big one.

High payout is great, but if it doesn''t convert then you're not going to make money.

No way to tell from just looking at it. The only way to know for sure is to test it.

I tend to be attracted to higher payouts, but there is usually more competition there. Really, there is no set rule. There are plenty that do well with both. Just a matter of preference and what you know.

setec, we are going to get into how to pick an offer but 1 thing at a time. Lets have some order so we can build a process that goes step by step. Again not trying to be a thread nazi but I think if we focus we can get some great info on here as a resource for everyone to figure out the basics and maybe save some money on testing.
personal experience is you can't tell what will work until you try it

Can we back up 1 step? Are you using a single landing page, direct to merchant, etc? How did you make the determination of which to use? If your using a landing page how did you structure it? You don't need to show us, but what was the thought process that went into a landing page?
