Alex's comment sounds to me like spin control. I was told by a pretty good source that the Azoogle people were let go because they are moving positions over to San Francisco. My source told me that nothing was said about redundancy or performance, but that they acquired a company in San Francisco and had to cut costs in Toronto.

agreed, although I got a new AM a few weeks ago who is much better.
After over 2 years with Azoogle and 2 amazing AM's I got stuck with this guy a while back too. He never responded to a single phone message or email except for once after I contacted Alex to ask what was going on. It got so bad that I finally just packed it up and moved over to Max Bounty.
...and you are?Come on guys.... let's be realistic. I've heard from a good source that AzoogleAds is moving all of their operations to New York City. They are closing the TO office. They don't care anymore. After they got money from investors they ended firing the people that actually help built the company. Shame, shame on AzoogleAds for forgetting where they started.
...and you are?
you know what starmarketbiz, I heard from a good source that you're a jackass. How's that for inside information?

LOL - Are you one of the 16 people they laid off? You might be right.
Money: The owners are trying to get as much money out of potential buyers as they possibly can. You can't fault them for that. New York is the media capital of the world and to a potential buyer, a home office in NYC is much more attractive than Markham, Ontario.
Cost cutting: I don't even know where Markham is, but I'm pretty sure that office space is 1/10th the price there as it is in Manhattan, so you can forget about the cost cutting nonsense. This is a smart business decision for the two owners. Instead of selling the company for 500 million dollars, they might double or triple that by assuming an American identity.
Having said that, it seems to be the Markham office that has brought this company to where they now stand, so I would assume that the individuals who lost their jobs were compensated accordingly, and been made aware of these moves well in advance. I would also assume that the have already been replaced, (and possibly even trained the people that will be taking over for them) as Azoogle cannot afford to leave any of their clients out to dry on this one.
Do we need a fake drama tag?
No spin control at all. There were individuals in our Toronto office that were no longer necessary because other individuals in our other offices were performing their jobs.
Some people were let go due to performance issues, but this only affected a few individuals. We routinely let go of individuals that don't meet our peformance standards - as does any company in any industry.
Thanks.
Alex
Alex as an xazoogler, why dont you tell them the truth. That your daily revenues have gone down. That you have closed the doors on Giftfox, Bluetime, Coregio and Mport. All iniatives created by you to save the day, that failed under your leadership. And where is Spicymint - about to fail i guess.
Remember what goes around comes around.
I hope you attended Yom Kippur services yesterday to atone for your sins and those people you have wronged - your xazooglers.
Tell the truth Alex
