I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get a good CTR on Facebook with anything.
You should probably give up then ;]
I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get a good CTR on Facebook with anything.
so how does this help exactly ? i always bid around .20 for a new campaign and if it gets a good CTR and i see some profit then i keep with it..if not then impressions stop and i just ditch it
Your bid has EVERYTHING to do with CTR. My tool should help you find the minimum you must bid with your current CTR in order for facebook to give you impressions. Turbo aim me when you can so i can adjust my formula if it's off a little
so again..how does this help you??? say i have a campaign running with a min bid of .20 and my cpc ranges from .06 to .11 depending on the CTR for that particular day...how does lowering my bid effect anything???? seriously dude let me know how this will help me..
..as far as i've seen ( and i've been working facebook for 2 months...profitably) your bid has little to do with CTR, sure it may come into play but not worthy of a tool (seems you are looking for traffic to your blog) .its all trial & error at this point...what data do you have to back this?...every niche would be different and depends on your ad copy / image ect as Josh has pointed out

Stroz,
Your overall CTR for the life of your campaign for that particular ad is what facebook uses to decide how much you are allowed to bid per click. For example, i NEVER pay over 5 cents a click because my CTR is good. Facebook is not charging everyone the same price per click. They charged based on the CTR for your ad. If you have a shitty CTR then you may have to bid over $1 per click in order for your ad to be shown.
This isn't to generate traffic to my blog you homo. As you can see it's not monetized in any way. Just trying to help.
On a side note, how long does it take to update cpc? I know it takes 24 hours to update daily bid amount but how much for cpc bid?
nicky, does the sum calculation change daily? Yesterday I entered in a ctr and it gave a bid and today I entered in the same ctr and it gave a higher bid (by about 2 cents)
So I'm wondering how everybody is doing?
How many impressions/clicks are you getting, and what's your average CPC?
