Facebook Social Ads

I was wondering that too about the picture size. Mine is always half that size. AND SIZE MATTERS DAMNIT.

Hey anyone else having problems with the amount of conversions being tracked with traffic via facebook ads? If not ask your affiliate managers, I've run into a problem where my aff network is tracking way higher rates of sign up than the actual advertiser. Let me know if anyone is encountering this.

Ok, question, anyone that had flyers active WHILE they made the switch did those remain running? Reason I ask is because I am still seeing a few. I recall someone speculating it was a heavy hittery company or something but look at this. The link was just a hydra affiliate.

I've noticed the pornographic ones as well. They've actually popped up quite a few times, and I'm also thinking it will make it even worse for the rest of us at least trying to stay loosely within the TOS.

This is my first post on this thread so here is a quick update.

I've found like many of you, that I can get a lot of impressions from the start, and then when my ctr drops to .01-.02 the ad goes inactive. Good news is they aren't getting disabled by facebook, bad news is I have to put up new ads every day which is pretty annoying.

The spending limit got me last night. I forgot to increase for a particular converting time and then I was SOL, cause apparently that stuff won't go into effect until midnight. So all this beautiful converting time down the tubes. oh well.

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but does it help if you open new accounts, to see if a fresh one can get some more impressions, or do they track your ip address and ban you at that point?

I wouldn't. That seems to be one of the ban factors.

I figured that would probably be pretty easy for them to track, but wanted to make sure.

It's kind of strange, I setup those new campaigns last night before I went to bed and they got almost nothing, and now that I'm checking on them, and reloading, they are moving quite a bit more.

Still not a lot of traffic, but worthwhile at least.

If your ctr sucks then they won't show your ads. We already discussed it earlier in the thread, but the bottom line is, if nobody is clicking your ad, then even if you're bidding $2 per click, facebook is making more money per impression with my ad that i'm bidding 5 cents per click because people click mine much more than yours.

Ya, I've read through the whole thread, I was just reinforcing the point I guess.

I'll be experimenting all weekend so I'll post any new developments if I come across them.

Please do. I guess I should read through the whole thread again. You read it once then apply it and then go back through and read it again much later and your like holy crap I totally forgot to do that or whatever. It happens on alot of different threads actually. I like to call it the wicked fire overload phenomenon. Or just wfo for short.
